This is the over, one of them has got to go big. Schutt will try to take all the pace off.

  4. Eng 275-6published at 47 overs

    Brunt 19, Sciver 94 (Target: 311)

Good finish to the over from McGrath and there is nearly a mix-up between Brunt and Sciver. Fortunately for the England, both are safely back before the ball comes in.

  5. Eng 274-6published at 46.4 overs

    Target: 311

Swing and a miss from Sciver. Decent comeback from McGrath after the boundary early in the over.

It is hold on to your hats time! England are not rolling over.

  8. Eng 273-6published at 46.2 overs

    Target: 311

Four more! Sciver nails the first ball through mid-wicket and a misfield in the deep allows it to reach the rope.

  9. Eng 268-6published at 46 overs

    Brunt 18, Sciver 88 (Target: 311)

A boundary to end the over, Brunt gets the elevation she was after again, up and over mid-on.

  10. 6 runs

    Eng 262-6published at 45.2 overs

    Target: 311

Brilliant from Katherine Brunt! King tempts her with a floated delivery and she takes it on, hitting out towards wide long-on - and the ball lands on the boundary cushion, it's six!

  11. Eng 255-6published at 45 overs

    Target: 311

Eight off the over for England with a pair of twos for Sciver. Otherwise Schutt keeps them to singles.

England need 56 from 30 balls to win, Sciver is on strike for the start of the 46th over.

As Katherine Brunt said mid-Test match, "I believe". That's what each England players has to do, believe they can take it as deep as they can. It will be a big, tough ask but that does not mean that it is over.

The worm shows England Women are one run ahead of Australia Women. England Women are 247 for 6 after 44 overs. At the same stage Australia Women were 246 for 2.
  13. Eng 247-6published at 44 overs

    Target: 311

Sciver is on the charge. The right-hander advances to King and hits over mid-off for four.

She tries to go again a couple of balls later but can only chip it, one bounce to long-on. Nails the last ball though, back over the bowler's head for four more!

    England are still hanging in.

  14. Eng 235-6published at 42.4 overs

    Target: 311

A real stroke of luck for Sciver as she skies one from McGrath and the ball lands around the mid-on area, between the two converging fielders.

Dunkley played that shot so well against King but this time she missed it, it clipped her thigh pad and onto the stumps. She is furious with herself.

You fear it will need something exceptionally special from Brunt from here, but Sciver is still at the crease.

    Dunkley b King 28 (Eng 232-6)

Alana King has her third wicket. Dunkley moves across and attempts another paddle sweep but goes a tad too far and is bowled around her legs.

  17. ouch!

    Eng 233-5published at 41.4 overs

    Target: 311

Dunkley hammers the ball back at King, who takes a painful one on the ankle/ boot.

If you were being extraordinarily harsh, you might call that a drop...

  18. Eng 230-5published at 41 overs

    Target: 311

England are certainly getting closer than many - myself included, I must admit - would have thought when Lauren Winfield-Hill was dismissed in the first over of the chase.

But can they go from valiant effort to famous win?

  19. Eng 227-5published at 40.2 overs

    Target: 311

Top shot from Dunkley! There is just enough width for the right-hander to free her arms and hit firmly between mid-off and extra cover for four.

  20. Eng 223-5published at 40 overs

    Target: 311

After two from the first ball, England take just three more from King's over.

Australia certainly on top but England are very much in the game with 10 overs to go.

The worm shows England Women are 13 runs ahead of Australia Women. England Women are 223 for 5 after 40 overs. At the same stage Australia Women were 210 for 1.
