Good from Beaumont to get outside the line of the stumps as she came down the wicket. There will have been a brief moment, though, where she might have thought she was out.

Oooh, close. Umpire's call on hitting the stumps, and just outside the line, so Beaumont survives.

Just one leg bye from Mohammed's first over, and it was a testing one.

Straightaway I've gone for the review, I think that might be close.

The experienced Anisa Mohammed is into the attack and she's in the game straight away with an lbw review on Tammy Beaumont.

It's given not out on the field, but the bowler likes it. Beaumont came quite a long way down the pitch, so I'm not too sure this will be overturned.

A growing issue for England is that they're trying to make sure that the fall of wickets is not sustained but as they're doing that, the required rate is going up.

The worm shows England Women are one run behind West Indies Women. England Women are 90 for 4 after 23 overs. At the same stage West Indies Women were 91 for 3.

Danni Wyatt has started very nicely here, helping herself to two fours from Alleyne's over as she bowler just offers a little too much width.

That'll help England's cause and take some pressure off Beaumont at the other end.

Boundaries are hard to come by for England so they're going to have to find other ways. Can they learn from Australia and find the ones?

226 might seem like a modest total but we know it would be the highest score chased by England at a Women's World Cup. Where would they be without Tammy Beaumont, who herself was dropped earlier in the innings? So much on her shoulders.

    Target 226

There is a lot of responsibility on Tammy Beaumont now. The wickets have fallen around her, she's played solidly but not at her fluent, destructive best - there have been chances and loose shots.

Meanwhile Danni Wyatt drives beautifully past extra cover for three to get herself up and running.

Aaliyah Alleyne gets the reward for a fine spell of bowling. It was a big, aggressive drive; a drive built by pressure.

    Jones c Matthews b Alleyne 1 (Eng 72-4)

Another one gone and you cannot keep Hayley Matthews out of this game!

The pressure was building on Jones, who had one run from 15 balls, and the shot showed that. A big, booming drive at a wide-ish ball and it went quickly to Matthews, who snaffled a fine catch at slip.

England are not reading Alleyne well at all. She is bowling straight, wicket to wicket, but they're trying to play across it to the legside. Just be patient, runs will come.

  13. Eng 66-3published at 20 overs

Amy Jones gets off the mark with a dab down to third man for a single.

It's very tense out there as Tammy Beaumont almost chips one up to the close mid-wicket fielder, but it just bounces to her left. Hayley Matthews has bowled six overs, taken two wickets and conceded just 19 runs.

  14. dropped catch

Jones dropped on 0published at 19 overs

    Eng 63-3

Another tough chance but another one put down nonetheless, as Aaliyah Alleyne spills the ball low to the ground in her follow through.

The pressure is building on Amy Jones, though, who is yet to score having faced 10 balls. Can she capitalise on that chance?

The worm shows England Women are 18 runs behind West Indies Women. England Women are 63 for 3 after 19 overs. At the same stage West Indies Women were 81 for 0.

Four from that Matthews over, as another tall spinner proves to be a handful on this pitch.

West Indies need Beaumont's wicket, and they know it - they're buzzing out there.

  17. Eng 63-3published at 17.1 overs

Ooh, close! Tammy Beaumont nicks Hayley Matthews behind, but there's no slip for her and it runs away for four!

Matthews is causing all sorts of problems.

There's a lot of noise out there from the West Indies fielders now.

  20. Eng 59-3published at 17 overs

Amy Jones, despite her brilliance behind the stumps, needs to score some runs.

West Indies know this, as they bring in a slip and bring the fielders in close for her as if to say, "you won't get away from us that easily."

And it works - a lovely drive from Jones brings no reward as it finds the extra cover fielder and brings nothing but frustration.
