Alex, you were too nervous to ask Nasser to come onto the No Balls podcast, so I asked him.

You pressured him by following him on Twitter and then at lunch you spoke to him and he said, '10 years I've been waiting for that follow and I've only got it because she wants something!'

  2. Eng 6-0published at 2 overs

    Target 226

Chinelle Henry takes the second over.

She concedes just the two but, similarly to Connell, is just bowling a little too wide and not troubling the batters enough just yet.

Wides were the difference between winning and losing for England against Australia. They bowled 23 today - will it be the difference again?

  4. Eng 4-0published at 1 over

    Target 226

Inconsistency from Connell in this first over as she strays off target with a few wides, but is also able to beat Lauren Winfield-Hill's outside edge with a beauty just outside the off stump.

A reminder that Winfield-Hill hasn't scored an ODI fifty since 2016.

  5. Eng 0-0published at 0.1 overs

    Target 226

A bit of awkward bounce from Shamilia Connell, who is very tall, first up as Lauren Winfield-Hill jabs it down into the ground.

Roberto Colombi: I have a feeling that this is Lauren Winfield-Hill’s make or break innings - another failure to get a big score and I can see Beaumont and Wyatt opening for the rest of the competition

    Here we go then.

Tammy Beaumont and the under-pressure Lauren Winfield-Hill stride to the middle in pursuit of 225.

Shamilia Connell will take the first over for West Indies.

England had West Indies on the ropes at 81-3 but weren't able to capitalise.

The run-rate was slowed down but again, England struggled to take wickets as Shemaine Campbelle and Chedean Nation added 123 for the fifth wicket.

Their total is probably still below-par but England will feel it could've been a lot lower.

It was a difficult day in the field for Anya Shrubsole, hero of England's 2017 World Cup win, as she conceded 57 and went wicketless from her eight overs and then dropped these two chances.

    Enter Sophie Ecclestone.

A game-changing over set West Indies back as the big three - Matthews, Dottin and Stafanie Taylor - were all back in the changing room.

Matthews' leg-side dominance was evident in her 45, but she punished the inconsistency from England's opening bowlers.

Hayley Matthews was also dropped twice - one chance much harder than the other - and the destructive opening pair went on to add 81 for the first wicket.

    Let's have a quick recap.

It's said so often that the first ball of a game sets the tone, and well, it certainly did today for England's performance in the field.

    Thanks, Sam!

Well, it's hard to know where to start. As Alex Hartley said, it was such an up-and-down innings for both teams. Instinctively though, it feels like West Indies got away from England there - mostly down to the fielding.

Heather Knight's side should still win from here, but West Indies have a total to bowl at.

Well, for a long time it looked like the innings might just peter out but after a frenetic last few overs, West Indies got up to 225-6 and it's game on!

I'll hand you back over to Ffion Wynne while I get the coffee on ahead of what promises to be a fascinating chase.

England spinner Sophie Ecclestone speaking on Sky Sports: "There was some nice turn and bounce but overall it's a great wicket. I just found a nice pace and length for myself that I just tried to stick with and that got me the rewards.

"We are a great fielding team but it wasn't our day today. I'm definitely backing our batters to chase this, we scored 300 last game so I'm confident."

It's been a real up and down innings from England. They didn't start well at all in the first powerplay, and the West Indies looked in complete control before Sophie Ecclestone, Nat Sciver and Kate Cross came on to slow the run-rate down.

Some players have played well, and others really haven't. England have dropped some chances and they will be frustrated.

    Alleyne 0, Nation 49

Chedean Nation finishes one short of 50 after having to settle for a single from the last ball.

After a superb start, Dottin and Matthews putting on 81, West Indies toiled through the middle overs before Campbelle and Nation kicked on late in the innings to take their side to competitive total.

Sophie Ecclestone was the standout for England, taking 3-20 from her 10 overs.
