Today's other fixture, South Africa and West Indies, has been abandoned due to rain.

This means the teams share the points, and South Africa join Australia in reaching the semi-finals.

Give me a bit of time to work out what this means for the West Indies and England. It's a bit complicated. Hopefully someone else can do that for me.

  3. Eng 3-0published at 1 over

Beaumont sneaks a quick single to get England off the mark, before Danni Wyatt nibbles at one outside off stump before withdrawing her bat just at the right time.

A suggestion that she wants to get this job done pretty quickly!

Tammy Beaumont defends the first ball solidly. It is looking a little gloomy out there.

Yes, there's rain about but we played through a downpour against New Zealand the other day.

Welcome back! Tammy Beaumont and Danni Wyatt are ready to begin their pursuit of 106 for victory.

It should be straightforward, and it should give their net run-rate a significant boost if they can get the job done relatively quickly.

Diana Baig takes the new ball for Pakistan with two slips in place.

We're going to park this live for the time being, but will be back after the break to take you through England's chase.

    In a bit!

England's challenge now is to be clinical in the run-chase.

Surely England will be able to give themselves a big boost to their net run-rate now.

Diana b Ecclestone 6 (Pak 105 all out)

Sophie Ecclestone finishes the job for England.

A yorker skids underneath Diana Baig's bat, and England need 106 to win.

Diana Baig is a player I love watching whether she's batting or bowling.

  15. Pak 105-9published at 41 overs

Diana Baig is a very good batter and will take the attack to bowlers - I'm amazed to see her batting so low at number nine. She seems wasted there - she's batting with the last wicket already.

And as I say that she slogs two pretty terrible shots in the air that just avoid the outstretched hands of fielders - but I guess she has nothing to lose in going after a few at this stage.

  18. Pak 102-9published at 40 overs

England are having one of those days where everything they try seems to work.

Thankfully, it seems their days of dropped catches and bowling 20 wides in an innings are behind them.

    Aiman c Jones b Ecclestone 0 (Pak 102-9)

Ecclestone has another! Too good for Pakistan's lower order.

A good length delivery, the batter goes back and prods at it, only able to feather an edge through to Amy Jones who once again makes no mistake.

This has been a tough watch from Pakistan's point of view.
