What a shot that was from Sophie Ecclestone. And that's why Katherine Brunt ran the single, because she knows Sophie can clear the boundaries.

  2. Eng 234-6published at 50 overs

Salma bowls the last over. A desperate dive from Ecclestone means that she survives a run out appeal.

Ecclestone smashes a slog sweep for six off the very last ball to send England into the break with a smile on their faces.

Bangladesh largely stuck to their task well in the field but England should feel confident of defending their total.

  3. Eng 221-6published at 49 overs

It's Jahanara's last over and it's a relatively good one with no boundaries. Ecclestone is new to the crease, she gets an awkward looking inside edge to fine leg for two.

  4. Eng 214-6published at 48 overs

Not exactly the over that England wanted with just a couple more remaining. It will be a case of throwing the bat at everything from here on.

If you were picking a World XI but could only choose one player from each country, Salma Khatun would be my pick for Bangladesh. I think she's an excellent bowler.

You can't blame Sophia Dunkley there. Coming down the pitch, seam up delivery, that's well bowled, a simple catch for the captain-keeper.

Dunkley st Joty b Salma 67 (Eng 211-6)

Dunkley was looking to throw the kitchen sink at that one, but she misses the ball and it's an easy stumping. The end of a very good innings.

If we're looking forward to the semi-finals and the final, England will have to look to accumulate runs quicker.

  9. Eng 210-4published at 47 overs

It's frenetic out there with four overs left. Dunkley looks frustrated at not being able to connect an attempted slog sweep at the start of the over but she executes the shot perfectly off the final ball.

It's a bit everything must go from England now.

  11. Eng 201-5published at 46 overs

A big heave from Dunkley results in a thick edge for four, the keeper had no chance.

Brunt doesn't connect properly with an attacking shot which only just goes over the fielders head, they pick up three but Brunt is living dangerously. But it's 14 runs from the over so another good one for England.

England are moving into a position which they'll be very confident of defending, having been in a bit of a sticky situation at 96-4.

  13. Eng 187-5published at 45 overs

Bangladesh are unfortunate to concede an overthrow off the last ball, as a shy at the stumps goes wrong.

Dunkley's looked brilliant, hasn't she? She's been unfazed by the situation with England in a bit of trouble losing quick wickets. She probably wasn't expecting to be in with 20 overs to go.

The run map shows Sophia Dunkley scored 54 with 6 fours, 1 three, 6 twos, and 15 singles for England Women

    Eng 180-5

Brunt mis-hits an attempted slog sweep but luckily the ball falls into space.

Dunkley picks up another boundary and then a single to reach her half-century, a really valuable knock.

We'll get some context on this England batting effort when Bangladesh bat on this pitch. I don't think this is the greatest tune-up for a semi-final on a fresh pitch. This one is on its third game.

  17. Eng 172-5published at 43 overs

Brunt seems to have made her intentions clear immediately by looking to attack but it's a successful over for Lata Mondal.

It's been a plan for Bangladesh to hang it outside off stump and Jones slaps it to extra cover. I think she'll be incredibly disappointed.

Just when she was looking well set, Jones offers a straightforward catch to cover. A setback for England just when they were looking to accelerate.

I think that was an incredibly tough chance. It came off the bat with some speed. But probably one the captain thinks she could have kept hold of.
