It's a shot that Lara Goodall gets a lot of runs off usually. She is holding her head as she walks off. Four down now, South Africa, is this the game?

Goodall tried to sweep, it was premeditated but she got so far across that she actually lost her off stump.
Goodall b Dean 29 (SA 67-4)
And she strikes straight away!
It's a horrible shot from Lara Goodall as she attempts a paddle to a full, straight delivery that she completely misses.
There are some glum faces over in the South Africa dressing room.
No Ecclestone yet, but there is spin. Here's Charlie Dean.

Sophie Ecclestone has just given her sunglasses to the Freya Davies, the sub fielder. That could mean one of two things: she's coming on to bowl... or it's getting dark.
Target 294
I appreciate this is stating the obvious but one an over just isn't enough for South Africa here.

South Africa need a blinder - who is going to play it? Who is going to attack?
Target 294
Yesterday we saw a strange approach from West Indies, who were blocking and leaving the ball until the very end despite needing 306 to win.
At some stage, South Africa will need to get a move on to avoid the game getting away from them. It's just a question of when that will be.
Target 294
Danni Wyatt made 129 after being dropped five times. Can Lara Goodall make the most of her chances?
Time for a drink.

The only thing England have done wrong today is drop Lara Goodall twice, on five and 18.
Target 294
South Africa just need to make sure they don't get too bogged down here, and keep the scoreboard ticking. If they can take five or six from an over in ones and twos, the rate won't run away from them too much.
It's so disorientating starting these shifts in the 1am darkness and slowly watching it get lighter and lighter outside.

We were talking about that required run-rate - it has already crept up beyond 6.5.
Target 294
Another miserly over from Kate Cross ticks by.
Sophie Ecclestone is stood at fine leg, hands in pockets, just waiting to be unleashed.
Target 294
In some ways, it might be that losing those early games has actually benefitted England.
They've effectively been playing knockout cricket ever since that loss to South Africa in the group stages, whereas South Africa themselves cruised through to the semi-finals without a hint of pressure, so they may not be used to it.
Target 294
A great start for Kate Cross.
Mignon du Preez is the new batter for South Africa. She is highly experienced and they'll need every ounce of that if they're going to get near this target.

This is exactly the kind of bowling, the line and length that Kate Cross was bowling in the nets. It's the wobble-seam ball which she has used to great effect. It forced Sune Luus on the front foot, looking to drive and it nipped back. Fast bowler's delight.
Luus b Cross 21 (SA 44-3)
Kate Cross strikes in her first over!!
It's a beauty, too, just nipping back off the seam and sneaking through bat and pad. Sune Luus has had an excellent World Cup but she's not going to be South Africa's saviour today.
England edge ever closer ...

Not quite job done but England have certainly scored well above par. I thought 250 would be a really good score.
Target 294
Oooh, is that a drop? Sune Luus miscues a pull shot and Katherine Brunt covers a decent amount of ground from mid-wicket but can't seem to get there, despite a dive.
The umpires go upstairs to look at a run out call that follows, but Lara Goodall is safe.
And the second wicket to fall was that of the powerful Lizelle Lee, who has struggled for form throughout the tournament and only added two runs to her tally today.
