It was a good pick-up from Sune Luus. England need to be completely ruthless now and capitalise on the start they made.

Target 294
Lovely shot! Sune Luus capitalises as Shrubsole lands one right in the slot for her to thump over mid-wicket for a boundary.
And again! This time clipped squarer, helped on its way into the leg side.
11 from the over and a good end to the powerplay for South Africa.

Goodall nailed that. Dean will be disappointed, she actually jumped too high.

Charlie Dean had to react quickly. It went like a tracer bullet and she couldn't hang on.
Target 294
Oh! Tough chance but again, should be taken.
Goodall absolutely drills it to Charlie Dean at midwicket and I mean that was struck hard. Dean jumps but mistimes it and spills the ball in the process.
Looks like one that'll properly sting the hands.

We don't want to get carried away, England are not through to the final until the game is won.
England got off to the perfect start, getting rid of the tournament's leading run-scorer for a duck.
Target 294
Oh, lovely shot! Perfect timing from Goodall again, this time effortlessly clipping Shrubsole through the leg side for four as the bowler just strays onto her pads.
Shrubsole looks perplexed, but it's a great shot.

I think Brunt is getting involved in the verbals with Goodall.
Target 294
Great shot from Lara Goodall, who picks up the length quickly from Brunt and pulls firmly for four.
And repeats the dose from the final ball, too! Absolutely nailed.
There was some real frustration being released in those shots.

You can just see how nervous the South Africans are in everything they do. No conviction in the strokes, no certainty in the running.
Target 294
South Africa captain Sune Luus is a fine player but she has a huge responsibility here.
She plays a streaky drive that just evades Wyatt at point, before almost being run out coming back for two from it.

Jack Rule: ANYA SHRUBSOLE! What a wonderful, wonderful opening spell.

It was a powerful drive and it would have been a stunning catch by Brunt - but it bursts through the hands.
SA 8-2
Tough, but should've been taken! Goodall chips one back to Brunt, who gets two hands to it above her head but the ball just bursts through.
England are absolutely buzzing in the field, though. They can sense the World Cup final is not far away.

South Africa are 8-2 and surely England are on their way to the World Cup final!?

I don't even know what shot she's trying to play there and it just spoons up to Nat Sciver.
Lee c Sciver b Shrubsole 2 (SA 8-2)
And she strikes again! Both openers back in the changing room!
Another tame dismissal and Lizelle Lee's miserable tournament with the bat continues. Shrubsole swings the ball in late and Lee clips the ball nonchalantly to Nat Sciver at midwicket.
England well on top.
Anya Shrubsole is causing all sorts of problems with her trademark late swing. She squares Lara Goodall up completely with one that curves like a banana and the ball just bounces short of Danni Wyatt at point.
One of the main reasons England have such an imposing total on the board is Danni Wyatt.
Treat yourselves to the best bits of her magnificent 129.
