I said in the women's game that Welsh Fire looked to be below par at halfway.
They look to be again here but we all saw what happened earlier.
Will there be a repeat?

Duckett is a very talented batter. He has played Test and ODI cricket for England. There is such a wealth of batting in England. Harry Brook is one that looks a real talent but Duckett churns out runs every year.

Thanks Ffion. Anyone reading this feeling generous enough to deliver some birthday cake to the Cardiff area?
I think I've done quite well to leave it until now to mention that it's my birthday, so I'm going to go and enjoy my evening and hand over to Matthew Henry for the Invincibles' chase.
(Jokes, I still have work to do.)
Oval Invincibles bowler Tom Curran, speaking to Sky Sports: "We bowled pretty well, the wicket is two-paced and hopefully we can knock them off. If we can see off the new ball, we have the batters to chase this down."

That is under-par. Duckett was the only batter to get to grips with the bowling. It was a real struggle for the others. The last five balls got away from the Invincibles a little bit but I think they will be pleased.
A solid all-round bowling and fielding performance from the Invincibles and they'll be confident of chasing this down. Ben Duckett carried his team there.

It was a superb catch in the deep.
Duckett c Evans b Curran 65 (Fire 121-7)
Ben Duckett is caught off the last ball going for a big six, Laurie Evans tumbling forwards and doing well to hold on.
A fighting innings from the Fire captain.
Excellent running as they batters scamper a two and Duckett is going to face the last ball.

Curran is looking disappointed. When you are looking at the same batter you do feel vulnerable that they are getting used to what you are bowling.
And a four!
And follows it up with a no-ball ...

We keep seeing this in this tournament. Someone bowls a good five, are kept on and are immediately hit for a boundary.
And the gamble doesn't quite pay off yet as Ben Duckett launches him for six. Can he get any more from this last four?
It's a very good set of five from Tom Curran who bowls a mix of slower balls and bouncers that get Ben Duckett in a right tangle.
It's such a good set that he's going to bowl 10 in a row.

Ben Duckett is having a very good tournament.
Fire 105-6
It's been a very good knock by Welsh Fire's captain and definitely not an easy one. He's been disrupted by wickets falling around him and facing barely any balls in the past 20 or so.
We saw Welsh Fire's women defend a low total earlier today - Ben Duckett will be hoping his bowlers can do the same.
It's hard to tell whether it's been the pitch or just very good bowling.
