Phil Salt is on fire!
Chris Jordan has bowled three balls and he's gone for three fours. So that's the end of the powerplay, in the middle of Jordan's set of five.
This 90-ball cricket is so confusing, you know.

This 90-ball cricket is so confusing, you know.
Chris Jordan comes on to bowl, and his first ball is whacked for four by Salt.
It's not even a bad ball, but Salt wants to make the most of the powerplay so he's gone for it.

Tymal Mills is somebody who loves cricket, cares about cricket and has always done lots of research when I'm with him on commentary.
It was a very good set of five from Mills until his last ball flies away for four. He lets out a grunt of annoyance.

Colin Munro sprinted to the middle. If I'd just seen that delivery, I'd be sprinting to the car park!

That was rapid!

Beauty! Leg stump out of the ground. It was a rocket!
Clarke b Mills 10 (Originals 18-1)
That one's definitely out, though!
Stumps everywhere. Full and straight from Mills, it's nearly 90mph and Clarke takes a huge heave and misses. It also looks as if it's raining again, so it's not an easy time for batting.

They made that decision in two seconds, which I love!
A very strange review goes up for a stumping, but it wasn't anywhere close to being out. I don't think Clarke's foot moved an inch.
That looks horrible.
Phil Salt has nailed the ball ridiculously hard back at Liam Dawson, who gets a hand to it but he immediately waves for the physio.
I managed to get a very close glimpse at it and well, let's just say it didn't look too good.
Oooh George Garton will not be happy.
Firstly, Joe Clarke thumps him for four, and next ball is a standard single - but the fielder's throw bounces miles over the stumps and miles over fielder Paul Stirling's head and runs away to the boundary.
So, Joe Clarke has scored himself a five.
And on that note, Salt hits George Garton's first ball for four.
An excellent first set of five for Dawson, conceding just two. Originals openers Salt and Clarke will want to hit boundaries early, so Brave have applied good pressure on them right away.
Spinner Liam Dawson opens the bowling for the Brave and his second ball goes for just a single to get things up and running.
And with less balls to be bowled, it seems that three bowlers can bowl their usual allocation of 20 balls and another two can bowl 15.
A reminder that this game is 90 balls a side due to the rain delay, and that means the powerplay has been reduced to 23 balls, instead of 25.
There's a lot of talk about powerplays in the shorter formats of cricket, and here's Greg James to explain exactly what they are.
