Welsh Fire have batted first in every one of their four games in the men’s edition of The Hundred thus far, scoring an average of 152 runs per innings – the most of any team in first innings’ this season.
After the toss Fire skipper Ben Duckett said: "I don't think the wicket will change too much for either side so hopefully we'll be able to set a decent score."
Trent Rockets skipper Lewis Gregory, speaking to Sky Sports after the toss, said: "It looks like a pretty decent wicket to me so hopefully we can bowl well and then knock the runs off. We have Wahab Riaz in for the first time today."
Trent Rockets skipper Lewis Gregory has called correctly at the coin flick and has elected to bowl first at Sophia Gardens.
The Rockets have decided to replace Marchant de Lange, who is the joint-top wicket-taker in The Hundred with eight wickets at a strike rate of 7.4, with original pick Wahab Riaz.
Pakistan bowler Wahab was initially unable to take part in The Hundred because of visa and work permit issues but they have now been sorted.
He is straight into the Rockets team tonight.
