It was brilliantly bowled. Mullaney looking to sweep around the corner. He didn't quite get enough of it. I love those catches. You see teams practice them time and again so when they come off in games it is brilliant.

    Mullaney c Howell b Brown 49 (Rockets 129-8)

I'm so sorry Steven Mullaney. I got the 50 graphic ready just as you picked out Tom Helm.

Helm's take is reminiscent, if not as spectacular, as Mullaney's on the rope earlier, the Phoenix fielder also needing to keep balanced on the right side of the rope as he initially takes the catch before tipping it up and pouching it again.

Gutting for Mullaney, a top knock and just short of 50. Pat Brown is bowling very well at the death.

    Rashid c Howell b Brown 2 (Rockets 128-7)

A slower ball from Pat Brown - one of about 50 in his locker - does for Rashid Khan.

He slaps it out to Benny Howell at deep cover and the Phoenix are set for victory.

Unless Matt Carter can bash a few sixes...he's done it before.

What a wonderful sporting theatre Trent Bridge is.

I reckon the final of The Hundred should be here instead of Lord's.

    Need 39 runs to win

Big hit from Steve Mullaney as it sails out towards the fence.

    Four? Six? Out?

None of them, just the one.

  7. Rockets 127-6published at 16 balls left

    Need 40 runs to win

    Another single to Rashid.

    Boundary needed.

  8. Rockets 126-6published at 17 balls left

    Need 41 runs to win

Rashid Khan wisely puts Steven Mullaney back on strike.

But Mullaney can only find a single next up.

He got the elevation. It went high. But it is a simple catch for Hammond. The important rule in the Hundred though is that the new batter is always on strike. Here comes Rashid Khan, who can produce fireworks.

    Moores c Hammond b Howell 13 (Rockets 124-6)

Very, very high but not very far.

Tom Moores gets a ridiculous amount of power under this one but it's all up.

When it finally comes down, Miles Hammond is there to snaffle it safely.

    Heads up!

  13. Rockets 124-5published at 20 balls left

    Need 43 runs to win

Sublime from Pat Brown as Steven Mullaney misses the last.

That set of five could well have swung it Phoenix's way - just three runs conceded.

  14. Rockets 124-5published at 21 balls left

    Target 167

Superb stuff from Pat Brown, following Steve Mullaney with a toe-crunching yorker. Dot ball.

Finn Allen has a smile on his face because he knows he did the hard yards. He has run from long on - 30 or 40 yards - and flopped forward. It would have been so good had he taken it.

  16. dropped catch

    Close!published at 23 balls left

Tom Moores swipes Pat Brown high up into the Nottingham sky, Finn Allen legs it a mile to try and get there and has to go one-handed.

He got a palm on it in the end but the ball rolled out. One of those where you use the drop graphic, but don't call it a drop. Heck of an effort.

Situations likes this really make you notice when you are missing your strike bowler like Adam Milne. He can put pressure on. Rockets are ahead of where the Phoenix were at this stage in the innings.
