Oval Invincibles batter Alice Capsey speaking on Sky Sports:

"I'm feeling great. It's surreal really, I didn't expect it and I just went out there to have fun.

"There were nerves, but not as many as Wednesday I can tell you.

"I did regional tennis growing up but I picked cricket over it, but I played a lot of sports at school really.

"This tournament's been great really so far and young people to aspire to play on a stage like this, it's great and it's been so unexpected so far."

  7. London Spirit need 133 to winpublished at 12:18 British Summer Time 25 July 2021

So let's recap - Alice Capsey the star of the show with her 59, fighting back after the Spirit took three early wickets.

The another flurry of late wickets means the Spirit are back in the game, and I'd say the game is very well balanced. This should be a good chase - which team will lose their unbeaten record?

Good bit of fielding. Clean pick up, set herself for the throw and the despairing dive not enough for her to get home.

I think both sides will be pretty pleased with that effort.

  9. Invincibles 132-6published at Ball 100

Gardner is run out from the final ball going for the second run, which they needed to do, so no blame there.

It's hard to tell how they'll judge that score. They did well to get there given they lost three early wickets, but at the same time might have wanted more given the partnership between Capsey and van Niekerk?

  10. Invincibles 130-6published at Ball 98

The batters scramble a two, taking on Danielle Gibson's throw from the boundary - she has a very powerful throw but Gardner's dive saves her.

    Good running.

  11. Invincibles 127-6published at Ball 96

Another four from Gardner! Handy little cameo this, eight from two balls already.

Freya Davies gives a wry smile as if to say, 'you got lucky there!'

  12. Invincibles 123-6published at Ball 95

Needed that! Jo Gardner is the new batter and she gets an edge first ball that runs away for four.

    5 balls remaining.

A lot of slower balls from Deandra Dottin and the batter looking to force the ball over the infield.

They've kept chipping away Spirit and will be pleased with their work so far.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 25 July 2021

    van Niekerk c Dean b Dottin 29 (Invincibles 119-6)

Maybe not! Invincibles needed some quick runs, but Spirit are fighting back here. van Niekerk goes for a slog sweep, and Charlie Dean takes a good catch running in from the boundary.

  15. Invincibles 119-5published at Ball 93

Deandra Dottin bowls a couple of dot balls at van Niekerk and London Spirit have the momentum back again. Can the Invincibles get to 130 from here?

    Villiers c Gibson b Dattani 8 (Invincibles 117-5)

    Six and out!

Well, there was a two in between thanks to a superb diving stop on the boundary from Danielle Gibson, who goes one better next ball and takes the catch to dismiss Villiers who was going for another six.

    What a shot that is!

Mady Villiers able to do first ball what Alice Capsey couldn't quite manage the ball before.

Terrific hit first ball, she just bunted it.

  19. 6 runs

    Invincibles 117-4published at Ball 89

Mady Villiers is in next. She's 22 - she must feel ancient.

And she whacks a huge six first ball. At Lord's.

    Talent!

She will score many runs in the lime/mint green of the Oval Invincibles and you sense in the colours of England in years to come.

A terrific innings from Alice Capsey.
