What a ridiculously good shot that is!
A full toss from Binura and Afif, with just a flick of the wrists, almost dab-hoicks it down to the boundary for four. Really, really nicely done.
Afif Hossain is the new batter at the crease, and he's off the mark with a little tickle off the hip for a single.
Oh, that's four though! Mushfiqur cuts a length ball past the cover fielder and ino the ropes.

The real test of a pitch is how easy it is to flow from ball one. This will give us an indication for the second innings, Sri Lanka might be in with a chance of a couple of more wickets with Bangladesh needing to accelerate.
Naim c&b Binura 62 (Ban 129-3)
Breakthrough!
Pace off from Binura Fernando and Naim smacks the ball high into the air, a little too top-edgy, and it's Binura who jogs to his left and watches the ball all the way into his hands.
A fine innings comes to an end - and, crucially, it's broken what was an imposing partnership for Bangladesh.

This is a beauty of a partnership. Naim has gone full steam ahead against pace, Mushfiqur has been excellent against spin. They are showing all the other teams how to bat from overs seven to 14.
Naim 62, Mushfiqur 37
A good bit of fielding from Charith Asalanka in the deep, stopping the ball before flinging himself over the boundary rope, stops Mushfiqur slapping a four off Shanaka.
Shanaka follows it up with a wild, wayward bouncer that Mushfiqur was never going to be able to reach. Wide.
Mushfiqur tries to scoop the returning Dasun Shanaka over his shoulder and misses, but is aware enough to scramble through for a bye.
Oh, that's too short, though, and a firm swing of Mohammad Naim's bat sends it flying for four.
This was some shot.
Run-rate 7.87
A profitable over for Bangladesh, with 11 runs coming from it.

This is an innings unlike any other so far, countering the spin - leg break, googly, he's had the answer.
Back to back boundaries!
What a gem Mushfiqur is. This time he sweeps the ball just a touch squarer to pick up another four.
Mushifqur Rahim goes slog-sweeping once again against Hasaranga and gets a sweet four for his troubles.
That last boundary brought up the 50 partnership between this pair, by the way, from just 28 balls.
Naim 55, Mushfiqur 24
Four more!
An absolute slap of a pull to a Lahiru Kumara short ball adds another four to Mohammad Naim's total.

Exceptional knock so far but he needs to go further than this, get 70-75 and get a really massive total for Bangladesh.
Well, that's a way to bring up your half-century!
This has been a brilliant knock from Mohammad Naim, playing the anchor role, and he brings up a 44-ball half-century with a languid lofted drive for four. Lovely.
Close! Naim is halfway down the pitch at the non striker's end before he realises that Mushfiqur isn't running. He's lucky that the fielder's throw is, er, a little wayward, and they can eventually pinch a single.
Mushfiqur does the traditional unamused gesture as his teammate tries to avoid his eye.

Bangladesh will be disappointed if they can't get to at least 150 from here. That will put plenty of pressure on Sri Lanka.
Naim 46, Mushfiqur 22
Mushfiqur is great, isn't he? He's only 34 but he's been around for such a long time. I've always enjoyed watching him.
This is a good recovery from Binura, though, conceding just a handful of singles after being tonked for six first up.
