There was a bit of a flash point there. Something happened...
Litton c Shanaka b Jumara 16 (Ban 40-1)
Sri Lanka get the breakthrough!
I was just about to say that Bangladesh have done very well to get through the powerplay without losing a wicket, but Sri Lanka strike with one ball of the sixth over remaining.
Litton Das goes for a big drive over mid off, slices it and a simple catch for Shanaka. And there's a bit of commotion out there too between batter and bowler...

Er, the fence is quite comfortable at the minute...

There's a big game coming up, Carlos, with India v Pakistan - which way are you going?
Some textbook accumulating going on from Bangladesh here, as they are finding runs with relative ease.
Litton Das carves Chameera past point for four and his first two overs have gone for 21, which isn't ideal for Sri Lanka.

Naim did well to move himself out of the way of that one. It was a bit of aggession from Kumara.
Shot! Lahiru Kumara drops too short and Naim thumps the ball firmly over midwicket for four.
And perhaps a sign of frustration from the last ball as Kumara fields in his follow-through and launches the ball straight back at the batter, who does very well to avoid being clattered on the head. Fiery!

I love the composure Bangladesh are batting with.
Very full and straight but Naim clips it with exquisite timing through midwicket for four.
A single from the final ball means Chameera's first over goes for 12 and Bangladesh will be very happy with that.

This is devastating in a powerplay. You can't be bowling no balls.
Not quite - clubbed in the air for two.
But it's another no-ball so it doesn't matter! Another free hit.
A change of bowling as the very tall Dushmantha Chameera comes into the attack.
He sends down a sharp bouncer to Naim, just keeping him on his toes as the batter ducks underneath it. It's followed by a no-ball so we have a free hit!
Can Bangladesh make the most of it?

Sri Lanka are containing Bangladesh nicely at the moment.

There was bat involved. Sri Lanka were actually quite interested in taking the review there.
First boundary of the day!
There's actually a bit of an appeal but Litton Das gets a bit of bat on it to tickle the ball very fine for four.
Followed by a firm drive through the covers for two as Bangladesh just start to find some rhythm.

The Sri Lanka line-up has changed a little over time. They had a poor series against England in the summer. But there seems to be a stream of quick bowlers coming through.
A solid start for Sri Lanka, just two singles coming from the first over. They look buzzing in the field already, and their bowlers are in form - they bowled the Netherlands out for just 44 in the group stages.
These opening overs won't be easy for Bangladesh.
The first ball is driven firmly by Naim Sheikh but straight to the fielder at cover.
I must add that I'm struggling with this 'super cold' that seems to be doing the rounds of the UK at the moment, so there's a possibility I might sneeze and miss something. Please forgive me if that does happen.
