This is a bit of a grudge match for Pakistan. It wasn't long ago that New Zealand were due to play their first tour match in Pakistan and they pulled out on the morning of the game.

Today is the first time we've had the privilege of watching New Zealand at this World Cup. They are always an absolute delight to watch.

The current World Test champions and 50-over runners-up aren't quite as formidable in the T20 format - they are currently ranked fourth in the world - but they tend to peak and turn up at these tournaments.

They lost a five-game series against Bangladesh 3-2 a couple of months ago and have lost both of their warm-up games but they've beaten West Indies, Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh in home series in the last 12 months.

They will be a force to be reckoned with.
