Watchful stuff from Rahmanullah Gurbaz as he sees out the final two balls.
The camera picks out two concerned-looking Afghainstan fans. It is still a good start from their team though, so no need to worry just yet I feel.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the next batter. Can he maintain Afghanistan's momentum?

It was an entertaining 33 but he just picked the fielder out. He didn't try and hit the ball, he just tried to place it.
Zazai c van Lingen b Smit 33 (Afg 53-1)
Breakthrough!
Hazratullah Zazai looks to help the ball round the corner again but perfectly picks out Michael van Lingen on the deep square leg boundary.
An entertaining innings comes to an end.

Theo: Trumpelmann... is there a better name in world cricket right now?!
There has been some impressive hitting from Afghanistan so far. Here's Hazratullah Zazai giving Ruben Trumpelmann the treatment.

He hasn't far away from that at all. He's gone for the old parry it back in and catch it. It was probably half a metre too high.

That was seriously dismissive. It made him look like a village bowler.
Oof. Mohammad Shahzad has not quite got going but he looks in good touch now, powering the ball through the onside for four.
David Wiese repsonds by banging it in short - but Shahzad simply helps it on its way for six!
Bernard Scholtz got a hand to it on the boundary but could only help the ball over the rope.

The bowler will be furious there. It was a really good delivery and it somehow squeezed past the stumps.
I'm so disappointed for him because he'd bowled so well in that over.
Another leftie, Jan Frylinck, has ball in hand for Namibia and it is more impressive stuff, varying length and pace, making it difficult for Afghanistan to get the ball away.
Just as a type that...a touch of fortune. An inside edge from Hazratullah Zazai escapes for four. Next up, he dispatches the ball over midwicket for six.
Good work undone!

Ruben Trumpelmann hasn't been at this best today. It is a great test for him now because he's going to have to come back at some stage so we'll see how he responds.

That was perfectly placed by Hazratullah Zazai. He just waited on it and it wasn't that wide but it is a brilliant shot.
Slower ball from Ruben Trumpelmann but that is beautifully timed by Hazratullah Zazai, cutting it just behind square on the offside for four.
Lovely shot.

Afghanistan needed that boundary. They need to get on with it.
A much needed boundary for Afghhanistan, Hazratullah Zazai clipping it round the corner for four.

There is some talent in this Namibia team. Afghanistan, after their close miss against Pakistan, are going to have to be right on it today.
I'm with Alex on that one. In fact, the clock in my car shows a completely random time so I just ignore it.

That winds me up something rotten.
