Heather Knight, the women's captain, has already done it.

Buttler reached his hundred from 67 balls with his sixth six. It is his first T20 international hundred and only the fourth by an England player.

In his first 38 balls he scored 35 and he added 66 in the remaining 29.

Paul Collingwood, England's fielding coach, has just said the batters were relaying back that 110 would have been a good score half way through that innings.

That gives an idea of just how special that innings was from Jos Buttler and how valuable Eoin Morgan's 40 was.

A brilliant innings. Not a great ball to finish on and Buttler clubbed it away. A superb effort.

He had to work hard to get himself in on a very difficult surface. That is a terrific moment.

HE'S DONE IT!! JOS BUTTLER TAKE A BOW!!

He goes outside leg-stump and Dushmantha Chameera gets it oh so wrong, offering him a full toss on his pads and Butter just flicks over deep square-leg.

He takes off his helmet and raises his bat. His team-mates are full of smiles on the sidelines.

Give Hasaranga some credit there - he tossed it up. It was a wrong 'un and it just spun enough,

    Morgan b Hasaranga 40 (Eng 147-4)

Eoin Morgan looks to slog sweep away but the googly from Wanindu Hasaranga does for him. That is Hasaranga's 50th Twenty20 international wicket.

A very good 40 from 36 balls from Morgan. That is exactly what England needed.
