That was probably one shot too many in that over. It was picked but there was no connection on the shot.

    Rajapaksa c Roy b Woakes 26 (SL 76-5)

    Bhanuka Rajapaksa's fun is over!

Rajapaksa looks to make it three boundaries in three balls and ends up lofting the ball towards Jason Roy, who runs forward and takes a good, low catch at long-on.

The sound off the bat! The cleanness with which he hit that. This is the danger in Sharjah.

    Walloped!

Oh, that sounded good, and it is. Bhanuka Rajapaksa latches on to Chris Woakes' third delivery and hoicks it over mid-wicket for six.

England have taken at least three wickets in the powerplay in all four games in this World Cup so far. They have taken 13 wickets for just 119 runs.

Over the previous couple of years years they had only taken three wickets in the powerplay four times in 28 matches.

    Drinks.

Sri Lanka need 98 runs from the final 60 balls.

  11. SL 64-4published at 9.4 overs

That'll be four, though, Dasun Shanaka latching on to a bit of width and running the ball with delicate hands through deep third.

You can see that England play to a template when they are bowling. They bowl a lot of spin in the first 10 overs and then bring on their pace man Tymal Mills to bowl his four overs around the 10th over mark.

  13. SL 60-4published at 9.3 overs

Tymal Mills is on for his first bowl and has a yelp for lbw against Bhanuka Rajapaksa from his second ball.

It's a bit too leg sidey to trouble the umpire, though, and Sri Lanka settle for jogging a leg bye.

That is brilliantly fielded from Jonny Bairstow. The dew possibly helped there. It was a terrific piece of work.

  19. SL 57-3published at 8.2 overs

That's a superb bit of work from Jonny Bairstow, sliding and diving on the boundary rope to stop Avishka Fernando slapping a four through the covers.
