Mitchell Starc has gone round the wicket to the right-handed Mahmudullah and he drags down a leg-side ball that the Bangladesh skipper gets a fine tickle on, through to a diving Matthew Wade.
Mahmudullah just walks off. He didn't even wait for the decision.

Just thinking about the form Bangladesh had coming into this World Cup - they'd beaten Australia and New Zealand convincingly. They would have come here with high hopes of upsetting some teams.
Interesting decision from Aaron Finch. He turns to Glenn Maxwell rather than opting for one of his pace bowlers in an attempt to wrap this innings up.

Mahedi Hassan got into a bit of a tangle, looking to pull a short-ish ball away from Adam Zampa. He misses though as the ball scurries through a little bit and the technology says umpire's call.
Zampa was complaining about the wide and extra ball but it has brought them the wicket.

Australia have been excellent so far. They have bowled with good pace, gone full with the new ball, and made the Bangladeshi batters struggle.

Time for a drink. That first half couldn't have gone much better from Australia's perspective.
They have only bowled one over of Glenn Maxwell though, so between him Mitch Marsh and Marcus Stoinis they'll have to bowl another three if Bangladesh last the 20 overs. The Tigers will target those, you'd have thought.
The powerplay could not have gone any better for Australia...or any worse for Bangladesh.

Decent appeal from Adam Zampa to end the over - in terms of volume anyway. Mahmudullah came a long way down the pitch so I think Australia would have been struggling to get that overturned.
