  • Bangladesh 73 all out: Zampa 5-19, Hazlewood 2-8

  • Bangladesh already eliminated

  1. Ban 19-3published at 4 overs

Catch it! Ooh! Mohammad Naim slashes a drive just over the head of backward point and Bangladesh pick up a much-needed boundary off Pat Cummins.

Another one! This is a better shot. It is on the cut again, but much more controlled.

    A better over for Bangladesh.

At the start of this Super 12s stage there was a lot of talk about the teams that had to qualify - Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Namibia and Scotland - potentially causing some upsets because they were more match ready.

It really hasn't played out like that at all. If anything they have looked overcooked and like they have played too much cricket.

This is looking like an end of term performance from Bangaldesh.

  4. Ban 10-3published at 3 overs

Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah plays out a dot to end the over.

It looked a pretty good shout. Just a fraction of turn for Maxwell, too.

    Mushfiqur lbw b Maxwell 1 (Ban 10-3)

    Another one!

The change to Glenn Maxwell seemed a pretty odd one considering the success that the pace bowlers had had but it works.

Mushfiqur Rahim looks to work into the leg side but a little bit of grip sees the ball hit him dead in front.

    Bangladesh are in deep trouble.

That's brilliant from Josh Hazlewood. It's relentless length and pace.

It looked as though it was a straightforward defensive shot but it has gone through him and dislodged a bail.

  9. wicket

    Soumya b Hazlewood 5 (Ban 6-2)

    Another drag on!

This is where Josh Hazlewood's height helps him. He finds a little bit of extra bounce and even Soumya Sarkar seems to pretty much middle his forward defence the ball spins and bounce backwards into the stumps.

    Australia are in control.

Four! It is an almighty hack from Soumya Sarkar but he gets a good enough connection on the pull to find the mid-wicket boundary.

He doesn't look entirely comfortable against that slightly shorter ball though as he almost loops another into Mitch Marsh's hands at square leg.

Josh Hazlewood has been the pick of the Aussie bowlers in this tournament to date.

It'll be Josh Hazlewood and his Test-match line and length from the other end.

  13. Ban 2-1published at 1 over

Soumya Sarkar is the new batter and he gets off the mark with a steer down to third.

Looking at a replay of that wicet Liton Das just doesn't move his feet enough and doesn't commit to the drive. It looked like he was slightly beaten for pace too.

Three yorkers in a row from Mitch Starc. That's what he tries to do with the new ball. The white ball doesn't swing for very long, so you make use of it while you can.

A swinging, full delivery, and Litton has played on. It had been a good start from Mitchell Starc, threatening the stumps, and you heard the clatter.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 0.3 overs

    Das b Starc 0 (Ban 1-1)

Chopped on! Golden duck for Liton Das.

There is more movement for Mitchell Starc and the length draws Das into the drive and a thin inside edge cannons into the base of leg stump.

    A perfect start for Australia.

  17. Ban 1-0published at 0.2 overs

Good start from Mitchell Starc. He hasn't quite been at his best in this tournament so far but he starts at a good, full length and finds a little bit of movement too.

The first ball encourages Aaron Finch enough to bring in a second slip. You don't see that in T20 cricket too often.

Australia will hope and feel that two wins will be enough to take them through. But if South Africa beat England on Saturday, that makes it difficult...

Both sides have taken the knee and it is time for play.

It'll be the left-arm pace of Mitchell Starc to get us going.

    The national anthems are done.

Australia are having a chat - I won't say huddle because it is far too casual for that - on the outfield.

They need to deliver and deliver big today.
