I wouldn't change all that much with the India team. You can't change your team that much from one bad tournament.

  2. Nam 35-2published at 7 overs

Rahul Chahar finishes his first over with just one run and a wicket from it.

Baard is getting nowhere near Chahar at the moment. Where has he been in this tournament?

  4. Nam 34-2published at 6.2 overs

Baard misses again with an ugly heave.

Chahar perhaps suggesting he should've played earlier in the tournament.

For me, a bigger issue was it took until the game against Scotland to play three frontline spinners in the same team, more so than exactly who those three spinners were.

  5. Nam 34-2published at 6.1 overs

Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar is on for his first ball of the tournament...and nearly strikes straight away.

Stephan Baard completely miscues his shot and loops a top edge just over wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant but just short of the diving first slip.

I don't know what changes I'd make to this India squad.

I was really surprised that Yuzvendra Chahal wasn't in the squad because he had a really good Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

I just think India haven't played their best cricket in this tournament.

    Baard 16, Erasmus 0

Facing Shami, Bumrah, Ashwin and Jadeja all during the powerplay is brutal.

Namibia end it with 34 runs off the first six overs.

Pant sort of held the pose a little bit there to make sure the photographers got it.

Williams didn't get in line with the ball and it beats the outside edge. Rishabh Pant teased him a little bit too by not taking the bails off straight away.

It was a bit of a nothing shot from Williams.

Williams st Pant Jadeja 0 (Nam 34-2)

Slow left-armer Ravindra Jadeja, who bowled beautifully against Scotland, strikes with only his third delivery.

Craig Williams skips down the pitch, is beaten by the turn as he plays down completely the wrong line and is stumped by an absolute mile by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.

Namibia's solid start is starting to crumble.

It is a good pitch - the bounce is good and it isn't staying low. There isn't much spin either.

  12. Nam 33-1published at 5 overs

New batter Craig Williams defends his first ball before trying to work the last ball of the over past mid-on but finding the fielder instead.

Four dot balls, two singles and a wicket off a very fine over by Jasprit Bumrah.

The bat twisted in his hands as he made contact with the ball there and it just spooned to mid-off.

    Van Lingen c Shami b Bumrah 14 (Nam 33-1)

    Dollied up and pouched.

Namibia opener Michael van Lingen shapes to pull a ball that Jasprit Bumrah has banged in but has misread the pace.

He's through the shot too early and can only loop it straight up for a simple catch by Mohammed Shami at mid-off.

I did see a really nice black toilet yesterday and I do have a black shower and sink. It is very modern.

I am going to go with a white toilet though I think.

  16. Nam 31-0published at 4 overs

Ravichandran Ashwin is canny as ever, despite not much spin from the off.

He limits Namibia to six off the over.

I'm having some issues with my bathroom renovations and I would just like to know what wall-mounted toilets our listeners would recommend.

Abhishek has just recommended a heated seat - how much money does he think I have!?!

They've faced Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami already and now here comes Ravichandran Ashwin is into the attack in the powerplay.

The next time that Namibia play T20 cricket it isn't going to be against a side like India. They get to play against Bumrah, Shami and Ashwin today and just really enjoy themselves.

  20. Nam 25-0published at 3 overs

    Run rate 8.33

Michael van Lingen flays and misses at the last ball.

Still, a fine start for Namibia, going at over eight an over to start.
