That's HUGE!
David Warner absolutely pummels a six into the stands to bring up his half-century from just 34 balls. Ridiculous hitting.

That was a poor ball and Mitch Marsh wallopped it.
Now that's how you start an over!
Tailing down the leg side from Jimmy Neesham and it's oh so easy for Mitchell Marsh to swing it over the ropes for six.

What New Zealand are doing isn't really working at the moment but on a wicket like this you can't really do much different.
You can't really take any pace off the ball. Australia did bowl some fast cutters that were difficult to score from so maybe New Zealand need to try that. They just need to hang in there and take any chances that come.
Now then. Here's Jimmy Neesham.

It is Australia's game at the moment. They are making it look quite easy.
You would always back the chasing team needing nines from the last 10 overs. But there can be turns around any corner.
Halfway stage.
Australia need 91 from the final 60 balls. New Zealand need one almighty bowling performance.

David Warner is one of those players who can do both roles. He can rotate the strike but he can also go through the gears and be as destructive as any power hitter.
A couple of quieter deliveries from Mitchell Santner, but I can't emphasise how stupidly quick David Warner is between the wickets. It's unreal.
Considering that, before this tournament, he couldn't buy a run, his performances in the past few matches have been beyond remarkable.
England are on the same flight out to Australia as the Australia team when this tournament is over.
It's, er, not ideal.

That is a lovely strike. David Warner looks like a man on a mission.
A huge six to end the over!
Well. This feels like one way traffic at the minute.

It most teams you'd say "good effort" but New Zealand would expect him to stop that. They pride themselves on their fielding.

That was a misfield from Adam Milne. He dived over the ball.
Australia are at 61% on the win predictor. Which feels about right, you'd say?
David Warner sends a thumping pull away to the boundary, where Adam Milne dives over the ball and watches it trickle away from him and into the rope.

It is interesting how David Warner got that there. It was almost a swatted backhand.
David Warner has taken his helmet off, which means he looks 90% cooler as he pummels Ish Sodhi off the back foot and through long-on for four.
It's been a superb start for Australia.
