Currently on honeymoon on the little island of Symi in Greece, and the sleepy village of Chorio may have been slightly disturbed by me shouting "oh Jonny!" with some additional expletives. Fortunately my wonderful wife completely understands. Wonderful listening to TMS in such idyllic surroundings but I was hoping I'd get at least 4 days of it...

Kyle Jamieson's spell:
9 overs
24 runs
2 maidens
3 wickets
Decent. Very, very decent.
Target 277
Tim Southee is back from the Nursery End after Kyle Jamieson's superb post-lunch spell.
There's been a bit of low bounce and Southee's final delivery has Root jerking onto the back foot to deal with it.
Jonny Bairstow may want to look away now...
Sir Alastair Cook
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
The Lees dismissal almost sums up England's batting. There was a lot of extra thought and complication. Test batting is a simple game.
You have to be able to soak up time knowing that it will get easier.
Bairstow played cracking shots but to be consistent in Test cricket you have to have patience.
Eng 277
Boult is back over the wicket now, dropping in a short one that does not climb. Root swivels and guides it to fine leg for a single.
Target 277
Boult gets one to climb at Root from around the wicket, but the ex-skipper gets on top of it to grab two to third.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
It is down to these two now.
Target 277
A quiet over from Kyle Jamieson with just a single to Root, but Stokes half-leaps down the pitch to the last only to defend it back to the bowler.

Ross Matthewman: What on earth is Bairstow doing? Are there any other batsmen so bad at defending their own stumps? Time for England to move on from him. Not a smart cricketer at all.
Theo Bowyer: New era... same old batting frailties. It’s got to turn around at some point but the selectors must get it right too. Pope at 3 and no Brook? Baffling decision.
Thomas Knights: Bairstow with a very ambitious drive getting cleaned bowled. Sadly, seen it about 20 times too many in Test Match cricket.
Target 277
I suspect Ben Stokes will opt for the 'blocking it out approach' early doors, which he employed famously at Headingley in 2019 in that legendary innings.
More grim scenes from earlier...

BBC Test Match Special statistician
Bairstow's average against balls projected to hit the stumps is 13.5.

You can have all the preparation and team meetings but until you play smart...
See him off. Get rid of him. Play a defensive shot. It is just dumb.
Target 277
One good over to get the hopes up, and now England are in the mire. Again.
Here's Ben Stokes on his birthday, what can the new skipper do here?
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
I am sorry but that is dumb. That is pathetic. You know it is going to be Jamieson's last ball of a terrific spell.
There was a bit of nip. It is an OK delivery. But when you are throwing your hands at a ball with a gap between bat and pad that you and I could swim through...
Bairstow b Jamieson 16 (Eng 69-4)
Right. Through The. Gate.
The ball before, Bairstow wafted outside off, and then had a verbal pop at the bowler.
Jamieson clearly filed that one away and then made him look very silly next ball up.
Target 277
Jamieson drops it short, and Root, rocking back, pulls it away to the square leg boundary.
Momentum shift?
