First session is 11:30- 13:30, lunch is 13:30-14:10 with tea at 16:10 and the last session is 16:30-18:30.

In theory we could be playing until 7pm with overs to make up. That could be later if we have further delays. There's also the prospect of the extra half hour if there's a chance of a result.

Providing we get no more rain then play will start in just over 10 minutes.

There are no overs lost - all the intervals etc are just pushed back by half an hour.

You might think "why on earth is he showing us Stokes' innings at Headingley".

No, it isn't some sort of hype, 'this is still on' motivating message from me.

It is Ben Stokes' birthday today - the England skipper turns 31 - and quite frankly that is as good an excuse as any to rewatch this ridiculous innings.

    Enjoy.

We saw Lancashire leg-spinner Matt Parkinson for the first time in Test cricket yesterday after he replaced Jack Leach as a concussion sub on day one of the game.

Parkinson has been on numerous tours with England in recent years, but has had to wait for his opportunity.

We didn't see his cap presentation yesterday because it was done in the changing room, but England shared this video last night.

You can tell it meant a lot to Parkinson.

What a cracking start this is from Reggie.

Some serious revs on that ball.

Wet, windy and actually pretty miserable at Lord's. Spectators are sheltering under the stands, or braving it in the seats with the help of a coat and umbrella.

If and when we do get some play, it feels like a bowling day. Not the greatest news for England.

England would be desperate to be out there and make this new ball count. If New Zealand get a 280-300 lead they would be very heavy favourites. Hopefully for Broad and Anderson, the rain goes but the cloud stays.

Today has been dubbed #ShaneWarneDay by our friends at Tailenders.

To celebrate the memory of Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne, on the anniversary of that 'Ball of the Century', we're asking to see your attempts to recreate his spectacular leg break that took Mike Gatting's wicket.

Post your attempts using the hashtag #ShaneWarneDay and we'll feature the best throughout the day.

    Go Well.

  12. The forecast...published at 10:50 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

We might get the odd shower today - Lord's is currently blanketed by thick grey cloud and a drizzle - but on the whole we should have a largely uninterrupted day.

It also looks like Sunday's forecast is improving too.

It's rainingpublished at 10:47 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

It's raining at Lord's by the way.

The groundstaff are currently covering the pitch. We're not expecting a massive amount of rain but we could see some form of delay this morning.

  14. Postpublished at 10:44 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

New Zealand keeper Tom Blundell told BBC Sport that he and Daryl Mitchell "have a job to do" in the morning. He hinted that their minimum aim was to see off the new ball.

We've seen in the past that while the new ball can bring wickets it can also bring runs, and fast runs. It'll be a balancing act for Ben Stokes.

  15. Postpublished at 10:41 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

After one over this morning the second new ball will become available to England. It might take them a few balls, but I imagine they will be taking that straight away as they seek early inroads to keep this game alive.

Speaking at close last night England assistant coach Paul Collingwood told BBC TMS: "We have a new ball in the morning and have some exceptional new ball bowlers in the dressing room who can do some special stuff. So hopefully we can take some early wickets tomorrow and it is game on."

    Optimism from the England camp.

  16. Catch up with the highlightspublished at 10:38 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

Friday was a day that New Zealand largely dominated from ball one. There was a brief spell where England looked like getting on top with the ball but an unbroken stand of 180 between Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell has firmly swung the game in favour of the Kiwis.

Have a watch of the highlights below.

There are also our Today at the Test extended highlights on BBC iPlayer.

And, just in case you've really been living your best Jubilee Bank Holiday life, here are the day one highlights too.

Don't say we don't treat you well...

  17. The situation...published at 10:34 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

As I alluded to in my introduction a lot has happened in this Test match already.

New Zealand were bowled out for 132 inside two sessions on day one, before England were seven down at close.

The tourists made light work of the remaining three wickets yesterday morning as England earned a teeny nine-run lead.

They made early inroads but Daryl Mitchell, who will resume on 97, and Tom Blundell, who is unbeaten on 90, shared an unbroken 180 to firmly blunt England.

New Zealand lead by 227 runs going into day three and given England's recent frailties with the bat, many think the Black Caps may already have enough runs to win this game.

  18. Destination day?published at 10:30 British Summer Time 4 June 2022

Day three of a Test match is often referred to as "Moving Day".

Well, in all honesty, this Test did most of the heavy lifting and miles on day one.

Therefore there is a chance that today could be "Destination Day" instead.

England almost certainly can't win this game today, but there is a chance they could possibly lose it and stretch their torrid run to just one win in 18 Tests.

    Join us. I've sold it.
