It was a good toss to win for Rohit Sharma because there was a far bit above for the bowlers.
England just need to forget about it. They are much better than we saw today and there isn't much point dwelling on it too much.

That is one of the more one-sided one-day internationals that you'll see.
England didn't turn up, but take nothing away from India - they had England under the cosh from the start.
Ind 114-0
Cut away for four by Shikhar Dhawan, job done for India. All wrapped up inside 19 overs but, in truth, the game was over as a contest long before that ball raced to the boundary.
Andy Zaltzman
BBC Test Match Special statistician
These two have now shared 18 century stands in ODIs. It puts them joint third in most century stands in ODIs.
Rohit has also shared 18 with Virat Kohli, Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan shared 20 while Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar shared 26.
England keep bowling short to Rohit and he keeps dispatching them into the stands. Six more!
Rohit 67, Dhawan 27
After blocking the first three balls from Moeen, Dhawan is down the pitch to the fourth and whips it through mid-wicket. It rather plugs though and he has to settle for two.
A single cut past backward point brings up the 100 for India and Rohit nudges the last for one more - 10 to win.

It has been a bit of trouncing, let's be honest.
England just haven't turned up today.

If you want to bowl short, then bowl short. Anything between waist and chest height just isn't going to work.

The finish line is well in sight now.
That was just a pick up.
Target 111
The end is nigh for England, Rohit is on the charge!
After adding four through backward point, he pulls another bouncer from Carse and this one goes even further than the last. High over fine leg, six more and it has been all too easy for India.

That is not where you generally bowl to Rohit Sharma, especially when he's set.

What a way to bring up a half-century! He absolutely dispatched that.
Ind 85-0
Brought up with a six! Carse goes short, Rohit is on the hook again and the ball sails over fine leg. A top knock from the India captain.
A 45th ODI half-century for the opener and it comes up from 49 balls.
England turn to spin for the first time in the match as Moeen Ali comes on to bowl.
Rohit starts the over with a delicate lap-sweep for a couple with a further three coming from the over.
Ind 74-0
Still no joy for England. It was close, very close, but umpire's call on height and Rohit survives.
It has been one of those days for the home side.

I don't think Jos Buttler even asked Brydon Carse about this because I think I saw Carse say he thinks it is too high.
Rohit could be in trouble here because it is pretty straight, it is just if it too high.
Ind 74-0
An ugly heave across the line from Rohit to the last ball of Carse's over, it hits him on the back leg and Jos Buttler sends it upstairs. Close, maybe too high?

Jacob Wadsworth: I really miss Jofra Archer & Mark Wood.

It has been one of those days where the India bowlers found the outside edge and England haven't. They have probably missed the bat just as much.
