It is still muggy and overcast but England haven't been able to find the swing that India found.
Another boundary comes before the over is out, Rohit on the pull again, not timed but into the gap and it trickles into the boundary cushion.
16 from the Topley over, the India openers have made their move. This one could be done very quickly from here.

The first ball was just a little bit too full from Reece Topley and it didn't swing, and then the second had too much width and it flew to the boundary.
Rohit 19, Dhawan 12
Lovely drive from Dhawan, drilled through extra cover as Topley overpitches. Through the gap and away for four.
And again next ball! That one is even better, really crunched through the same region.
Target 111
Overton goes past the edge now as Rohit pushes forward. There is still something there for the seamers.
In fitting with how things have gone for England in this match though, when the edge is found, Rohit gets enough bat on it to ensure it is wide of slip and runs away to the boundary.

25.2 overs is England's fourth shortest innings in a one-day game when bowled out. Two of those were games that were reduced to 24 overs a side and they were bowled out towards the end of those innings so really it is their second shortest.
They were bowled out in 24.2 overs, making 146 when chasing against Pakistan in 1985 in Melbourne.
Change of bowling for England, Craig Overton is into the attack.
Six from the over, all from that one shot.
The England physio is over checking on the fan hit by that Rohit six. Apparently it was a young girl but all seems to be well. Good news.

It is a tactic that teams use against Rohit Sharma because he does hit the pull up but more often than not he does get enough on it to get six.

Well, something have to give. It was a bit of long hop from David Willey to be honest and he doesn't have the pace for that.
Short from Willey and Rohit swings it away for six over long leg on the pull. Might that start the India charge?
There is a brief delay afterwards as the ball seems to have struck somebody in the crowd. Hopefully they are OK.
Twice in the over Topley sneaks the ball past Dhawan's outside edge. It's been a very good start from England's seamers.
It is unlikely to make any difference to the result but they're doing their bit. Maiden.

It was disappointing from England but you have to say it was a great toss to win because it swung, there was some bounce and it seamed a bit too.
Another tidy over from Willey. He had to get down quickly to get a hand to the last ball after a firm straight drive by Rohit. That saved a boundary.
Four to finish the Topley over as Rohit tries to pull a bouncer. The ball comes off the glove but is safely up and over Buttler's head and away to the fence.
India are now well ahead of the rate...

I thought we might get a little bit of Brydon Carse first up, especially having seen the bounce that the India bowlers got first up.
Reece Topley will take the new ball from the other end. Jos Buttler is backing his left-armers to do the damage early.
Target 111
Big appeal from the last ball of David Willey's over but the umpire is unmoved. No thought of a review either.
Just that one very risky single from the over. India have slipped behind the required rate...

It would have been the start that England needed. Dhawan gave up.
It wasn't actually that close to be honest from Jonny Bairstow.
