Player of the match Rilee Rossouw: "I felt confident coming into the summer. I am proud to be selected again for South Africa. I tried my best to get a hundred but was up against a world-class bowler like Chris Jordan. But I am glad we got the win."

What a difference 24 hours make.

After a woeful performance in the field yesterday, South Africa were brilliant today.

England fast bowler Chris Jordan, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a frustrating performance. We let them have 18 or 20 runs too many. With the bat we started off decent. But it was an almost day. We will debrief the game and talk about what we can do win the deciding game. These pressure games show where you are as a team, both collectively and individually."

On his death bowling: "I tried to bowl as positively as possible at the end. I just try to focus on execution whether it's wide yorkers, straight yorkers or into the pitch. I back my best ball even when the batters know it's coming.

"I feel in a good place both physically and mentally. I still want to stay hungry because I want plenty more."

Jason Roy will be looking to put today behind him. The opener could not find any rhythm and looked more and more frustrated throughout his innings. He scored 20 off 22 balls.

England captain Jos Buttler: "We probably could have restricted them with the ball. The wicket played well, I think it was a good one. It was tough to stop Rilee Rossouw scoring.

"A few guys got starts but didn't play that match-defining innings that Rilee did.

"We haven't quite performed to the level we are capable of. That's something for us to look at individually as well as collectively to get back to that level we have set ourselves.

"It's setup for a great decider in Southampton."

Reeza Hendricks' played a quality knock of 53 off 32 balls as England's bowlers struggled.

South Africa captain David Miller: "Obviously we will take the win and it's a great turn around from last night. We held our catches. We were lot clearer and the batters were phenomenal.

"We had a few meetings this morning to clear up a few things. We had to pick ourselves and did this game which is great.

"I am chuffed with the bowlers which made it easier for me, picking up wickets all the way through. I was juggling the bowlers but the guys executed well and took wickets regularly. It's 1-1 and one to go."

A really dominant performance by South Africa. It felt like England were in it, but maybe only because of the way they batted last night rather than how it played out.

A brilliant review as Gleeson departs for a duck.

South Africa win by 58 runs in a pretty dominant performance.

The three-match series is now level at 1-1.

Has new man Richard Gleeson now been strangled down the leg side? Given not out. South Africa review.

Chris Jordan probably knew he got bat on it, but hoped the technology would fail.

Jordan played away from his body. There's a clear spike on UltraEdge. The ball deviates. And there was a noise.

England may well be nine down with Chris Jordan nicking behind. He reviews. I heard a faint noise.

That's what happens when you bowl straighter.

There are still four overs to go.

Do we see Phil Salt for Jason Roy in the deciding game?

  19. Eng 146-7published at 15.4 overs

Adil Rashid joins Jordan in the middle. England don't just need something special, they need a miracle.

Although the miracle could come courtesy of some poor bowling from Andile Phehlukwayo. He bowls three wides in a row. And the crowd are giving him some grief.
