Rilee Rossouw ramps one from Richard Gleeson straight into his own chops.
The physio is on to see if he's okay.

Dan: 240 on for SA if Stubbs fires like last night.

Rebound catch in the crowd!
Tristan Stubbs - no relation to Ray or Alan, I would imagine - is off the mark with a controlled pull off his legs off Richard Gleeson.
However, the youngster is playing second fiddle to Rilee Rossouw at the moment.
Rossouw hammers a six over the short boundary straight, before he pummels a full toss down the ground for a one-bounce four.

South Africa have set the foundations, but can England do what they did at the death yesterday and tighten things up?
Chris Jordan was England's go-to man at the death last night but he's had a tough over here, taken for 11 by Rilee Rossouw who dabbed then thumped him for consecutive boundaries before keeping the strike of the last ball.
South Africa look well on course for 200 here.

I can understand why Tristan Stubbs is up the order. He has the fear factor of last night. So give him that opportunity in the knowledge there is still some quality batting to come.
Klaasen c Malan b Jordan 19 (SA 143-)
An unhealthy clang off Heinrich Klaasen's bat as he spoons Chris Jordan into the hands of the grinning Dawid Malan in the covers, as he takes it above his head.
Klaasen looks at his bat as he trudges off.
A tweak to the South Africa batting line-up as the exciting Tristan Stubbs comes in ahead of skipper David Miller.
The tall figure of Reece Topley bounds into the crease. His third ball is a slower delivery which Rilee Rossouw knocks into the on side for a single.
Rossouw, a Kolpak who has returned to the international fold after six years away, has got himself a fifty off 32 balls.

England are going to have to go some. It looks like South Africa will be scoring 200 plus from here.

The fielding was a big difference between the two sides yesterday. South Africa lost themselves 20 or 30 runs, easily.
And another...
Adil Rashid have a tough night as Heinrich Klaasen wallops his fourth ball back over his head for six.
England need to break this partnership.

Damien Fitton: With that Buttler review. In all fairness the ball clearly bounced up off the ground. You can't give that out.
Andy Gould: No way England should lose a review for that. Clearly an umpire error in thinking it didn't hit glove.

That's a quality cricket shot from Klaasen. Pulling it off his nose but rolling his wrists to pick out the gap.
Heinrich Klaasen is the next man in and he's quickly down to the business, steering Richard Gleeson for four with a controlled pull.
Next over and Rilee Rossouw reverse sweeps Adil Rashid for four in style, before a horrible cross batted hoik. Boundaries coming thick and fast for the Proteas now.

Is Jonny Bairstow West Indian? Just look at that flair. I love that.

That's a wonderful catch. Superbly judged.
Hendricks c Bairstow b Gleeson 53 (Eng 112-2)
Strike a pose.
It's short from Richard Gleeson and Reeza Hendricks looks to pull it to the square leg boundary.
However, he is thwarted by a fine take from Jonny Bairstow who takes a catch over his shoulder right on the edge of the boundary sponge and is just able to stop himself.
Bairstow stands still looking at the crowd, and smiles.
Here's one of Rilee Rossouw's sixes down the ground.
