Wowsers. A googly from Adil Rashid completely foxes Rilee Rossouw and skims past his outside edge. South Africa happy to farm the strike to the England spinner for the rest of the over.
Here's South Africa's first six of the innings from a little earlier after Sam Curran was dispatched by Reeza Hendricks.
Richard Gleeson, another hirsute member of England's attack, starts well with just three runs from his first four balls.
However, he lets one slip down the leg side and Rilee Rossouw helps it on its way to the boundary for six.

That's an absolute beauty from Reece Topley with his second ball. Using his height with a strong seam position. It's nearly unplayable.
A jaffa from Reece Topley, who has more than an inkling of a Colin de Grandhomme-esque mullet, as he beats the outside edge of Rilee Rossouw with his second delivery.
Rossouw had got himself off the mark with a boundary after he neatly worked the ball off his pads from Topley's previous ball.
A strong finish from the over by Topley, though, with four dots and a leg bye.

A brilliant bit of bowling. He took it away from the left-hander and De Kock just tried to force it.
De Kock c Roy b Ali 15 (SA 39-1)
A delivery from Moeen Ali goes on with the arm and Quinton de Kock skips down the pitch and pans it to Jason Roy at mid-on, who is able to take a comfortable catch.
England have their breakthrough.

A fraction short from Moeen. Hendricks really put that away well. A nice looking shot. He's continuing where he left off last night.
Moeen Ali, bright blue spiked shoes, sees his first delivery smeared through the covers. That was slightly short from the England all-rounder.

That was a smart shot. He saw the fielder have moved more square and knew he had to get it quite fine.
Sam Curran's second delivery is also sent to the boundary by Reeza Hendricks, who flicks it off his boots for four.
Curran varies his pace well in the remainder of the over as Jos Buttler beckons Moeen Ali into the attack.

I think we have our first crowd catch of the night. Well, he stood up as if he caught it.
Sam Curran's first ball of his second over sits up outside off stump as he digs it into the pitch and Reeza Hendricks cashes in. The South Africa opener pummels it across the line with powerful wrists and the ball sails over the boundary sponge.

The second boundary, again, wasn't perfectly timed. But it's a good over for South Africa.

Topley tried to adjust and went too far. It was well clipped but it didn't race away.
Back-to-back fours to end Reece Topley's over.
Quinton de Kock gets in front of his stumps and whips the ball powerfully off his legs into the leg side. Next ball he scythes Topley over the covers, and does not bother to run - he knows it's four from the moment it left the bat.

There feels like there is a bit of swing with this new ball. That slip is in play.
A huge waft of the willow from Quinton de Kock to Reece Topley's second ball, but the South Africa wicketkeeper is unable to connect.
A couple of deliveries later he beats the ring with a chip over ring but he's not quite got hold of it and the ball thuds into the turf.

Quite an interesting first over. South Africa looked switched on with their running, but there's also something in it for the bowlers with a decent amount of carry.
Gasps from the England fielders as Sam Curran's final delivery nips away from the bat of Reeza Hendricks. Solid start by the Surrey left-armer.
