England have been relentless since lunchtime. In every Test match this summer it has got easier to bat after 40 overs so that will be the next target for South Africa.

An expensive over compared to what we have seen recently. Three off it, the most expensive since the 26th over.
Wiaan Mulder gets two with a cut into the off side and seems to get a little over-excited as he attempts to charge Broad the next ball, before changing his mind mid-shot and turning it into a rather over-elaborate leave.

It has taken 23 balls but Khaya Zondo finally gets off the mark with a single from a push towards mid-off.
South Africa's innings is continuing to stall however. England are getting the ball to swing and making it incredibly hard to score.

In the last 40 minutes the old firm have given absolutely nothing. Anderson is going through his routine, giving one of his masterclasses. He's swinging the ball both ways with wonderful control. South Africa can't get a run off him.
England are really cranking up the pressure.

Khaya Zondo has now faced 18 deliveries without scoring.
He is not showing much intent either, which is perhaps wise with Broad and Anderson in this form. It is all about digging in and getting through this tricky spell.

James Anderson does find the edge of Khaya Zondo's bat with his final delivery of the over but the ball falls short of the slips.
A brilliant over from Anderson that Zondo just about negotiated.
Two absolute beauties from James Anderson as he twice squares up Khaya Zondo and the ball fizzes past the outside edge.
Anderson and Broad are doing it again for England.
Wiaan Mulder is the new batter as the Oval crowd roars Stuart Broad as he comes into to bowl.
Mulder managed to fend off the final two balls of the over, but England are sensing more wickets here.

You can't keep Stuart Broad out of the action. Like a fine red wine he just gets better with age. It's amazing how quickly this game can change. The momentum is now with England.
