Yorkshire will be buzzing with this start. You can tell the Lancashire bowlers are under pressure - there's a lot of kicking of the footmarks.

The pitch looks a belter and the outfield is really quick too.

Luke Wood changes ends for the final over of the powerplay.

He loses his length second ball and Dawid Malan clips it to long leg for four.

Then a full one just outside off that's panned wide of mid-off with excellent timing.

A good reply with a sharp bumper that flies through the keeper - and is very harshly called wide. Poor call.

Another shorter ball hurries Tom Kohler-Cadmore and takes him on the glove.

Malan drives the final ball to cover but that's an excellent powerplay for Yorkshire.

It's been a good start for Yorkshire, going at just under 11 an over.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Dawid Malan and getting used to the conditions and are opening up a bit.

This powerplay is moving nicely along for Yorkshire.

First change and Danny Lamb replaces Luke Wood at the Pavilion End.

Two dots begin the over to Dawid Malan but he then gives himself some room and carves it over cover and all the way for six into the front row of the Hollies.

A clip for two backward of square follows.

A single and a slower-ball that brings a dot to end the over well for Lamb.

Richard Gleeson also with a second over.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore tries to go up and over cover but gets it off the bottom of the bat and just clears the fielder running back.

Another one mistimed - this time a pull but well wide of deep square.

Finally gets one near the middle for a one-bounce four to midwicket.

Next ball goes again - doesn't get all of it but enough for another boundary.

Gleeson sends deep midwicket back but goes full and TKC is ready for it and drives beautifully down the ground for four more.

Back of a length last ball of the over and it's steered around the corner to the vacant long leg fence.

    Great over for Yorkshire.

The ends are playing differently. It's not carrying as much from the Birmingham End as it is from the Pavillion End.

But overall the pitch is playing quite well.

Aside from that six in the first over, the batters haven't timed the ball that well.

A second over for Luke Wood.

And almost gets Tom Kohler-Cadmore caught at midwicket with a mistimed pull.

Dawid Malan times a flick to deep-backward square but Steven Croft runs around to his left and makes a great diving save.

Malan then open the face and a thin edge flies fine for four to the old press box.

Richard Gleeson will be frustrated with that because it was a thick inside edge that went past his 45 for four.

Richard Gleeson here taking part in Finals Day for the first time.

He should have been there with Northants in 2016 but was cruelly injured in the 50-over quarter-final a few days beforehand.

A tidy start and a sharp single to mid-on from Tom Kohler-Cadmore that would have been a run-out with a direct hit.

Dawid Malan then swings a little wildly and squirts it past short-fine leg for four to end the over.

A big early blow for Yorkshire with Adam Lyth having been in excellent touch.

It'll be Richard Gleeson from the City End.

That was a specific plan. Lancashire know Adam Lyth likes to carve it. It was a potential boundary option but it was high risk.

He didn't quite nail it and it went straight down deep backward point's throat.

Dawid Malan drops one through square leg to get off the mark.

Adam Lyth then lines up a length ball, clears the front leg and whacks it over midwicket for six.

But Lyth tries to go over the off side and carves it to deep point!

Simple catch for Tom Hartley running away from the Hollies Stand but he needed the fat of his hands to just cling on in the end.
