Stirling was not convinced. He waited around for a long time there.

Stirling c Cross b Sharif 8 (Ire 29-2)
It did!
Snicko shows the tiniest of edges right off the toe of the bat and Stirling has to go! Scotland are jubilant.
Scotland are convinced they have Paul Stirling here as he attempts a cut shot and the ball flies through to the wicketkeeper. Did it flick off the bat on the way through?
A big moment.

A nice catch. It's always tough to judge coming forwards.
Balbirnie c Jones b Wheal 14 (Ire 22-1)
They have held onto that one!
Andy Balbirnie looks to guide the ball past point but Michael Jones, who else, takes a really smart catch diving forwards.
Salt, meet wounds.
After that Macleod drop Andy Balbirnie cuts the next ball away for a boundary.
Paul Stirling then pulls the final ball of the over around the corner for a one-bounce four.
Huge let off for Ireland! Paul Stirling mistimes a pull straight to Calum Macleod at mid-off but he spills a routine catch.
How big a moment could that be?
There is a touch of swing for Brad Wheal as he looks to shape the ball away from the right-handed Ireland openers.
Just the four singles off it. Decent start from the Hampshire seamer.
Left-armer Mark Watt opens the bowling for Scotland.
His third delivery is a touch full and Andy Balbirnie clips a half-volley through the covers for the first four of the innings.
Ireland need plenty more of those if they are to chase down this target.
Here is how Michael Jones was eventually dismissed, but his 86 from 55 balls has potentially set the platform for a Scotland victory.
That was a decent comeback from Ireland in the final two overs but the damage had already been done.
Scotland reach 176-5 at the end of their innings to leave Ireland needing an imposing 177 to win and realistically keep their hopes of reaching the Super12s alive.
Their reply is coming up in a few minutes.
Macleod run out (Tucker) 0 (Sco 176-5)
That's a decent final over from Mark Adair, with just the one boundary and two leg-byes off it.
His final delivery goes through to Locran Tucker but Scotland attempt the single anyway. Tucker's throw clatters into the stumps and Calum Macleod is well short of his ground.
This is how Scotland skipper Richie Berrington departed a few minutes ago, George Dockrell taking a smart catch on the cover boundary.

Finally Jones' splending innings comes to an end.
Jones c Adair b Little 86 (Sco 170-4)
All good things come to an end.
Michael Jones goes for one big hit too many as he picks out Mark Adair at long-on.
Jones departs for a magnificent 86 from 55 balls, the highest score of the tournament so far. And potentially a match-winning one.
It has not been Barry McCarthy's day.
He goes for 19 off his final over including a wide and a no ball to end with figures of 0-59. Ouch.

Yet another massive six! And a no-ball!
And again!
It is a horrible waist-high full toss from Barry McCarthy that Michael Jones pulls over deep fine leg and out of the stadium for another six!
To make things worse it is a no ball for height so it costs Ireland seven runs.
This is why Ireland will be frustrated at that dropped catch. Michael Jones is looking in very good touch today.
Oh dear, Jones should be on his way.
He heaves Campher away straight to Gareth Delany at deep backward square, but the ball squirms through his grasp! It looks like he may have picked up on the ball a bit late.
