The wicket seems to be slowing a bit, so if England can get to 175 they will be happy.

    Brilliant over from Lockie Ferguson.

Just six runs and the wicket from the over.

New Zealand would take that every day of the week at the moment.

Very well bowled by Lockie Ferguson, sticking with the full and straight.

It was too ambitious from Livingstone to go for the ramp again but that's a valuable cameo at this stage of the game.

    Livingstone b Ferguson 20 (Eng 153-3)

He goes for the repeat shot and gets bowled!

The Lancashire man probably goes too far outside off stump this time and ends up losing his balance a little bit and misses with the attempted ramp.

England have sent Harry Brook in next.

Oh, that's beautifully played. He flicked his wrists right at the very last moment to get it past the fielder.

I'm convinced that one day Liam Livingstone is going to put his back out.

He has an almighty heave at Lockie Ferguson but misses.

He improvises next ball and ramps wide of short fine leg and away to the boundary. He's up to 20.

Here's how Moeen Ali was dismissed.

A selfless dismissal from the vice captain.

  8. Eng 148-2published at 17 overs

Trent Boult hasn't had a great day. He finishes his four overs with 0-40.

Three to go - 180 is definitely on.

I can't tell you how hard that is. It was a slower ball so he had to put so much of his own power behind it.

That is extraordinary. He's hit it with a horizontal bat!

    My days.

Jos Buttler stands there and tennis serve style whacks Trent Boult back down the ground.

    A serious shot.

England are showing New Zealand little, to no, respect here.

No, he's home by a bat length.

Has Liam Livingstone need run out at the non-striker's end?

    Nobody seems too interested.

Here's the second time Jos Buttler was dropped.

You can't afford to drop a player of his quality once, let alone twice.

98 metres! That is a massive hit.

That is the longest boundary by absolute miles.

    Huge!

Liam Livingstone stands there, smashes it and it goes 98m over mid-wicket. It went seriously high in the air too.

King Charles might have retrieved that in the crowd too.

England have a seriously good platform here.

Jos Buttler is now England's highest run-scorer in T20 cricket.

These runs helped him get there.

The intent is pretty clear, isn't it! This doesn't look like an easy end to bowl from because that square boundary is so short, it gives the bowler a lot to think about.
