Eng 125-2published at 15 overs
Buttler 61, Livingstone 4
A slice of luck for Liam Livingstone as a sliced drive lands in the middle of nowhere.
Big over for England - 15 from it. They'll be targeting 175 from here at least.

Jos Buttler and Trent Boult were team-mates in this year's IPL. They know all about each other...

I wouldn't be bowling that full to Jos Buttler.

Smashed! That pinged off the bat, it practically had smoke on it.
Power!
Jos Buttler picks up another boundary with a crunching straight drive.
Trent Boult then drops shorter and Buttler pulls to the square leg fence.
He's up to 60. A century is not off the cards.

This is the problem for New Zealand now, though. Buttler is set, and both spinners are bowled out.
And now Buttler has a short leg-side boundary to attack.

That is an excellent spell from Ish Sodhi.
Eng 110-2
Well batted, Jos Buttler.
He brings up another half-century thanks to as a misfield at short cover.
A brilliant over for New Zealand, though. Just two singles and the wicket come from Ish Sodhi's fourth over, as he finishes with 1-23.
England were starting to wrestle momentum but New Zealand have swung it back slightly with that over.

I don't think we're going to see Dawid Malan bat tonight.
Liam Livingstone has joined Jos Buttler out in the middle.

Great bowling from Ish Sodhi, making Moeen reach for it and it's a very long boundary so he was nowhere near it.
There's no way Boult was dropping that!
Moeen b Boult b Sodhi 5 (Eng 108-2)
The Moeen Ali experiment doesn't work.
Naturally with the left-hander promoted up the order to take on the spin, he feels obliged to attack it.
He tries to whack Ish Sodhi over mid-wicket but doesn't get enough on it and Trent Boult, after a little juggle, takes the catch.
Jos Buttler is SO good.
Before the drop he carved over mid-off for four. After the drop he smashes a drive, from underneath him, back ground the ground for a glorious four.
Lockie Ferguson drops shorter and Buttler whacks a pull wide of long-on. Unreal timing and placement.
Enjoy this, guys. He won't be around forever.
Another life for Jos Buttler!
The England skipper tries to pull away and it goes straight to Daryl Mitchell at deep square leg.
He does know whether to go fingers up or fingers down and it spills to the ground.
Things are going England's way.
Right on cue. Here's an example of Jos Buttler playing nicely.

Jos Buttler has played that shot really nicely tonight. That's the only one he hasn't timed, yet he's still got four for it.
Jos Buttler is ticking along nicely. He picks up another four with a reverse sweep.
It isn't timed that well, it goes off the top edge and runs away finer than short third.
The remaining eight overs are big.
Here's the Kane Williamson drop of Jos Buttler.
It looked a brilliant catch, and we were all shocked when we saw the review.

England will be looking at 175 minimum. They have got so much batting to come.
Moeen Ali is an excellent player of spin so that is likely why England have promoted him up the order.
That was the end of Mitchell Santner's day though, so there's only two overs of spin left from Ish Sodhi.
England will want Moeen to attack those. One is coming up now.
