Good catch but the damage has been done by the two men out there.

    Hardik c Muzarabani b Ngarva (Ind 166-5)

Muzarabani redeems himself a little, snaffling in the slips as Hardik chases another wide one.

  3. Ind 165-4published at 19.1 overs

Absolutely rank from Ngarva - he didn't even hit the pitch.

Pandya can't connect with the extra delivery.

  4. Ind 165-4published at 19 overs

Driven hard down the ground from Yadav, but the following ball fails to make the boundary - plugging hard into the ground despite looking like it was going to go the distance.

Muzarabani finishes with a dot, but he's conceded fifty runs from his four overs.

    His placement is unbelievable.

It's such a good quality to have as a batter to be able to manipulate your hand.

Yadav is certainly up there as one of the best in the world right now and that's 1000 runs in T20I cricket in 2022 now.

  6. Ind 156-1published at 18.1 overs

Hardik gets in on the action, swatting Muzarabani into the same area for another one-bounce four.

At most other grounds we'd have a fair few more sixes in this game.

  7. Ind 152-4published at 18 overs

Colossal six right over the covers!

That's 1,002 T20I runs in the calendar year for Suryakumar Yadav. He's top of the charts.

  8. Ind 142-4published at 17.2 overs

Beautiful scoop from Yadav off Chatara over short fine leg. Ngarva is diving after it, but he can only sprawl into the ropes.

    Yadav's on 28 from 15.

  9. Ind 137-1published at 17 overs

Just two from the final three balls of the over.

    Take a breath.

  10. Ind 135-4published at 16.3 overs

Make that six from eight, Corbin.

Yadav sends Ngarva through third for four, takes a ball off and then crashes a massive six over fine leg.

Two full tosses from Ngarva and India are making hay from the seamers.

Full toss and one bounce and another boundary for India.

From the last six balls, five of them have gone to boundary ropes.

The boundaries continues to flow off Muzarabani.

It's Hardilk's time to send one to the boundary before four leg-byes are found off his hip.

    18 off the over.

Little bit lucky there. It wasn't a bad ball at all from Blessing Muzarabani. It was just a top-edge way over the wicketkeeper's head.

  14. Ind 116-4published at 15.3 overs

Lucky for Yadav! Massive top-edge that you'd normally expect to result in a wicket - but it spirals so high in the air that it lands just one bounce short of the ropes.

No such qualms about the next ball as he sends Muzarabani back down the ground for four more.

India's spinners have done a reasonable job of restricting the flow of India's runs. Muzarabani has been more wayward, and India will fancy their chances of accelerating here.

  15. Ind 107-4published at 15 overs

Wellington Masakadza returns to the attack as Zimbabwe continue to throttle India's progress.

Only four from it, as Yadav and new batter Hardik Pandya can't find the boundary.

That's a brilliant catch. There was a fair amount riding on that as we know how dangerous Rishabh Pant can be.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.3 overs

    Pant c Burl b Williams 3 (Ind 101-4)

    It's Burl and Williams again!

The duo who combined to dismiss Virat Kohli two overs ago are back in action here. It was a rather strange take from Burl to dismiss Kohli, a strange crocodile style catching technique that could easily have gone wrong. No questions about this one - it's a spectacular diving take, running around the boundary to catch Pant's lofted drive.

The hundred is up for India, but that's wickets in three successive overs.

  18. Ind 98-3published at 13 overs

Here's Rishabh Pant, back in the team today for Dinesh Karthik.

Rahul has set him a platform - time for some explosives? Raza clips India's wings for now.

KL Rahul has done his job tonight. It has given India the start they needed.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.2 overs

    Rahul c Masakadza b Raza 50 (Ind 95-3)

    Six and out!

Rahul brings up his fifty in style, sending the previously parsimonious Raza over the straight boundary for a maximum.

But Raza gets his revenge the next ball as Rahul puts the ball straight down the throat of Wellington Masakadza at long off.
