There was no bat. Well, there might have been, but it hit him on the toe first.
However it is umpire's call on leg stump and Virat Kohli survives.

I think he's hit that.

A terrific yorker, literally took him off his feet.
Chris Jordan has floored Virat Kohli with a yorker!
The umpire says no, but England opt to send it upstairs.
It's leggy, but will it be hitting enough of leg stump?
It's a good job that England dismissed Suryakumar Yadav because he was looking very dangerous...

Slightly too wide from Liam Livingstone. He's trying to make Kohli hit straight, but he just got the line wrong.
But I like the tactics from England, moving the field round. Bit of innovation, doing something a bit different.

Oh, interesting fielding change from England. Adil Rashid is basically stood right behind the bowler!
Shot! Hardik Pandya gets under a full ball from Liam Livingstone and clubs it back down the ground for his first boundary.
England are only going to let him have one of those. They immediately put Adil Rashid in as a front stop, and they have three fielders down the ground trying to stop Hardik hitting the ball down the ground.
Virat Kohli moves past 4,000 T20 international runs with a gorgeous drive to the extra cover fence. So good.

You'd say it's been England's game so far, especially getting rid of SKY early.
India have got to try and go at 10 runs an over from now on.
Here's how Rohit Sharma was dismissed...
It was a good catch from Sam Curran.

A little fortunate, off the toe end of the bat, but it's a much-needed boundary for India.
They were just getting a little bogged down.
A boundary. They have been pretty rare for India in recent overs.
It comes in slightly fortunate fashion too as Virat Kohli toe ends past short third, and it dribbles away to the fence.
Ten runs come off Chris Woakes' over. The score predictor was still saying 165 in this over. That feels high.

India haven't been brave enough. They didn't try to take on Adil Rashid, and that was New Zealand's problem yesterday.
They didn't take enough risks and paid for it at the end.

At some stage, India are going to have to take some risks.

Livingstone has bowled two very full balls there that normally, Hardik Pandya could hit out of the ground. But they are just turning sharply enough to take the outside edge so he's not in control.
That is a slight concern though for England, given India's spinners.
England have stole an over there.
Liam Livingstone concedes just three singles from his second.
England are, let's say it quietly, on top. India have only hit four boundaries in the last seven overs.

That is a special spell from Adil Rashid. It could prove to be match-winning.
Hardik Pandya is the new batter for India. He can hit a very long ball, but you can also dot him up at the start of his innings. England will be wanting to do just that.
You can read about his journey of pain, grit and glory here.
Brilliant stuff from Adil Rashid. He finishes with 1-20 from his four overs. Potentially match-winning.

See, he's human, he can play poor shots!
He's tried to go over extra cover but the ball has just stuck in the pitch. That tells us that spin is harder to score from, Rashid sticking with the fuller length and it pays off.
