Oh dear. Things go from bad to worse for Welsh Fire.
Southern Brave skipper James Vince hits one down the throat of Ryan Higgins but he has spilled it diving forward. Worse still the ball dribbles behind him for four.
Not the start Fire wanted with the ball.

West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra
I suspect David Payne is throwing it full to see if there is any swing on offer.

41 dot balls the Welsh Fire innings, and it just goes to show how well Southern Brave bowled. Dots are like gold dust in T20, let alone The Hundred.
Alex Davies is up and running straight with a run off his first ball.
The Southern Brave opening batters Alex Davies and James Vince are padded up and ready to go. Tall left-arm seamer David Payne will bowl first.

This Southern Brave team just look so good, they did last year too and they won it.

There are enough international cricketers wandering around the commentary boxes here to fill the hotel but the man posing for the most selfies right now is Love Island’s Chris Hughes. It’s because he supports a good football team…
Welsh Fire men's lowest score last year was 91 all out against Birmingham Phoenix. They've been able to better that but this isn't the start they would have wanted.
James Anderson
England bowler on BBC Two
As a bowling group you've got to execute your skills, execute your plans and Southern Brave absolutely nailed it.
Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra
Welsh Fire were severely below par. They needed partnerships but they lost wickets too quickly.
Thank you Callum. Southern Brave look a well-oiled machine don't they? Picked up where they left off in last year's tournament.
It's early days but Moeen Ali has just described Southern Brave as "looking like the team to beat again this year". They have certainly put down a marker with that bowling performance.
Who do you fancy to win from here?
Hit the thumbs up for Southern Brave and go thumbs down for Welsh Fire.
Timothy Abraham will take you through Brave's chase of 108.

Former England bowler on BBC Two
Southern Brave are a well-rounded team, we've spoken about how good they are.
Welsh Fire are a good team on paper but they couldn't get going.
Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner on BBC Two
They've just about got a total on the board but it's not really much of a total. They never really got going, they lost wickets at crucial times of the innings.
The Brave will love it. Well bowled the Brave.
A decent end from Welsh Fire with Adam Zampa picking up four runs back down the ground, before Noor Ahmad picks up two round the corner.
It has been a limp effort to start the competition, though.
Southern Brave will need 108 to win the first Hundred game of 2022.
Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra
With the batting line-up Southern Brave have I think Welsh Fire needed about 160 to be competitive and they are well short of that now.
Craig Overton is going to bowl the final five balls in the innings.
He took two wickets and conceded 14 runs in his first 15 balls.

What a shot that was! Talk about economy of movement, just a little flick and into the stands for six.
