Eoin Morgan stands and delivers. It was just a flat batted heave.
That'll do! Eoin Morgan has had enough of blocking and smashes Tom Curran right back over his head for six.
More of that, please.
A few more of these would do them good.
Sam Curran bowls a neat set of five to his former captain, baffling him with some changes of pace.
Spirit have properly slowed down here. They've got to kick on soon...
Sunil Narine helps bring back a bit of control for Oval Invincibles as the batters continue to struggle against his mystery spin.

I reckon 80 at the half way stage gives you a good platform to make 170 which would give you something to fight with.
Dan Lawrence is hopping and skipping and jumping all around the crease at the moment like a jack-in-the-box. It's pretty effective, as the bowler Tom Curran has to constantly move his fielders around to try and guess what he's going to do.
Halfway through the innings for Spirit's batters. How many more can they get from here?

Dan Lawrence is just threading needles through the covers at the moment. There aren't any massive gaps but he keeps finding them.
Another extravagant shot from Dan Lawrence flies into the air but plonks to the ground safely away from any fielders - they scamper two runs.
Aaaand the next one is smashed past a sprawling fielder on the boundary for four more! He looks pretty determined to have some fun here.

These two have played two proper cricket shots in this over and executed them well. They've started well.
Four more! Dan Lawrence slashes at a wide ball and whirls his bat around like a propeller as it races away for four.
Bit of flair there from Lawrence. Great fun.

Reece Topley is the form bowler in England, certainly in international cricket, so he won't see this as much of a drop off but that wasn't a great start to his latest set.
Well, Eoin Morgan doesn't want to rebuild. He just wants to charge down the pitch to Reece Topley and smash him for four!
Shot.

Eoin Morgan will want to leave the fans with better memories than his last few England games.
An excellent five balls from Sunil Narine. He's taken a wicket and gone for just 10 runs from 10 balls.
Former England captain Eoin Morgan is at the crease alongside Dan Lawrence, who has played Test cricket for England.
Bit of rebuilding for the Spirit to do here.

That's such a strange dismissal because the field was set for the reverse sweep. They had the man back on the boundary at deep backward point.
Maxwell refused the reverse sweep but tried to hit over cover and sliced the ball into the hands of the fielder at deep backward point anyway.
Maxwell c Cox b Narine 18 (55-3)
That is a big wicket!
Glenn Maxwell, who can destroy bowling attacks within the space of just a couple of overs, tries to slog the spinner Sunil Narine into the stands but doesn't get any timing and is caught on the boundary.
For some reason he bursts out laughing after. I'm not too sure what was so funny.

Carved away behind square, a remarkable shot, using the pace of the ball. That's the problem for Hasnain: you live by the pace, you die by the pace.
