Brave 35-0published at 80 balls left
Target 130
Dwaine Pretorius with a tidy set to rein in the Brave run rate.
But they are still well in front of the required rate. Only wickets can slow them down you suspect.
Brave cruise to nine-wicket win - Stirling cracks unbeaten 74 off 42 balls
Welsh Fire recover from 1-3 to post 129-8
Garton took three wickets with first seven balls of game
Du Plooy top-scores with 37 off 25 and Critchley adds unbeaten 32 off 19

When you have a below-par target, some teams think it's easy to walk it through. But if you lose momentum, it becomes really difficult. You need to be proactive like Stirling here.

Short and a bit of width, just crunched over point for four.
Stirling 27, De Kock 2
Make that four consecutive fours. Paul Stirling crunches another to cow corner.
Just a single from the final ball of the set.

Just rocked back and let it hit the middle of the bat. Lovely upper cut from Stirling.
Target 130
Paul Stirling does not want to risk another interruption.
He leans back to edge the first ball of the resumption for four, sweeps the next to the boundary and then cuts George Scrimshaw's next ball away to the ropes too.
Three successive boundaries - after half an hour off the field. Superb.
Southern Brave 18-0 (Target 130)
Even more good news - the delay will not result in a shortened game. Southern Brave will still get their 100 balls.
George Scrimshaw is into the attack for Welsh Fire.
At least this delay has allowed me to partake in a slice of strawberry cheesecake and a nice cold glass of milk.
But, hang on, the players are back out! Hooray!
While we await further good news, why not check out this cracking feature on South African cricket - if you need an excuse, well, Quinton de Kock is opening the batting here for Southern Brave.
Seamless, eh? No, but seriously, this is a good read.
Journalist Daniel Gallan and statistician Andrew Samson have examined if South Africa produces more high-class Test batters than anywhere else in the world.
Do you think they do? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

Good news outside here in Cardiff is that the umbrellas are down. It has eased off a little and hopefully they'll get back out there shortly.
The little jeep-type vehicles are out on the field drying the outfield with that special rope.
I remember that from being at the Edgbaston Test between England and India a few weeks back.
The crowd went absolutely mad for the on-field stewards using them as skipping ropes. Easily pleased, aren't we?
Welsh Fire's David Miller on the player mic: "I was here four, five years go and played for Glamorgan. We played only one game because it rained all the time."
Don't say that David... the forecast isn't looking great though apparently.
Don't quote me on this but I think both teams will be eliminated if this ends in a draw.
Bottom side Welsh Fire definitely will.
Defending champions Southern Brave could only finish on seven points. With the teams in third, fourth and fifth all on six points, I imagine top three will be out of Brave's reach too.

Only got through the 10 balls. We need 25 for a result.
And it has started to get heavier.
The umpires are taking the players off the pitch.
Target 130
Quinton de Kock off the mark with a smart drive towards deep extra cover for two.
With the drizzle continuing to fall, it's worth pointing out this innings must go 25 balls to constitute a match.
Should Welsh Fire do a rain dance? They need a win, though, really. Draw not a fat lot of good for either side so they will surely play on unless it gets torrential.
Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner on BBC Two
It's going to be difficult for the batters, it's going to be difficult for the bowlers. Cricket is not a game to be played under rain. It's going to be difficult to grip the ball.
Target 130
Welsh Fire need their bowlers to be, er, on fire.
So far, they have been errant. Six extras from eight balls is not great.
I don't think we're going to see a piece of fielding in this Brave innings that will outdo Ross Whiteley's catch to dismiss Welsh Fire's Dwaine Pretorius earlier.

Former England spinner on BBC Two
Cheeky. Just a little dink. Trying to get it over fine leg and he didn't get enough on it.
