Oh well, not the start we were hoping for as the pitch is currently covered up. There has been an intermittent drizzle around all day but that's all it has been - a drizzle. Hopefully we'll be getting under way shortly.
Today's key battle is between two seasoned openers, Welsh Fire's Joe Clarke and Southern Brave's James Vince.
The Fire haven't been impressive with the bat this season and they'll hope Clarke can come good and fill the void left by Jonny Bairstow at the top of the order.
With 123 runs from five innings, Vince is his side's leading run-scorer in this year's competition. He'll have fond memories of playing against the Fire as well as he struck an unbeaten 71 the last time these two sides met.

It's a pretty simple equation for both sides this evening - win or bust.
Welsh Fire are yet to win a match in four attempts and will have no chance of reaching the knockout stages if they lose again.
Defending champions Southern Brave are in a similar boat - they need to win their three remaining games to have any of retaining their crown, and even that might not be enough.

Stirling was named player of the match after smashing six maximums in his 61 from 36 balls against Birmingham Phoenix in the Lord's decider.
The big-hitter is joining the Brave as the overseas player replacement for Australia's Marcus Stoinis, who has been called up to national duties.
Southern Brave have won the toss and will bowl first.
Josh Cobb says he would've batted anyway so both teams have got what they want.
Plenty of changes for both teams, most notable of those being Stirling coming in for Stoinis at Southern Brave.
