Even putting aside the suspect - to put it generously - running between the wickets, Stubbs and Turner are struggling a the moment.

They both look to be trying to force it a bit and neither of them has really middled one yet.

They must have batted together before - it's like they've never met! Next in Paul Walter is going to be chewing his nails, up and down like a yo-yo. Am I in? Am I out?

What’s up with the Originals’ running here? Awful.

They need to sort it out these two - they are running shockingly!

  5. Originals 25-3published at 28 balls

    Stubbs 4, Turner 2

Turner and Stubbs seem determined to run each other out! This time they try to turn an easy single into a two.

It was never on and, thankfully for the Originals, they realise just in time and Stubbs is able to get back.

  10. Originals 23-3published at 24 balls

Horrible mix-up but somehow Stubbs and Ashton Turner are both still there.

The latter nudged the ball into the off side andthe pair of them ended up having a chat in the middle of the pitch, deciding whether or not to take the single.

Colin Munro had a shy at stumps but missed and - eventually - they take that single. Never in doubt...

We were wondering when the Originals' explosive form was going to come to an end and it might be coming to an end at Lord's. It is a huge wicket.

It has been a fantastic start for the Rockets.

That's the big one. The Originals are in big trouble early as Phil Salt departs.

Trent Rockets' Colin Munro on player mic: "Jimmy, I still want to be playing at 40, so any bits of advice please let me know.

"Please don't tell it is running because I ain't doing that!"

  15. Originals 20-2published at 20 balls

Superb from Sam Cook. He's not the quickest but he's a very canny seamer and has done a great job for the Rockets so far.

Two big early wickets. How will Phil Salt and Tristan Stubbs play it from here for the Originals? I reckon I can hazard a guess...

Look at the celebrations for the Trent Rockets supporters!

This is unchartered terrority for Manchester Originals. They haven't lost two wickets in the powerplay this tournament.

    Madsen b Cook 3 (Originals 18-2)

Bowled 'im! Wayne Madsen attempts a ramp shot, misses and the ball clatters into off to light up the stumps.

A very good yorker from Sam Cook.

Two wickets down in the powerplay, work to do for the Originals.

  19. Originals 16-1published at 15 balls

    Salt 11, Madsen 1

Really good set from Wood. Only three singles from the five and the Rockets have really pulled this back after that early flurry of boundaries for the Originals.

Luke Wood's game has come on leaps and bounds since moving to Lancashire. He is sharp. He bowls a heavy ball and rushes you as a batter.
