    Direct hit from long-on!

Superchargers are going down fighting here.

Another misfield and that allows the second run that confirms the Northern Superchargers cannot overtake Trent Rockets. They are out.

  3. Brave 100-6published at 21 balls left

Another misfield at mid-off gifts Brave two runs which means Superchargers are officially out of the Hundred.

Only Manchester Originals can prevent Trent Rockets from claiming a place in the knockout stages.

The Superchargers bowlers are going around the wicket to the left-handers, going at the body and not offering any width.

But unless something dramatic happens, it looks like the Brave will get past 99.

That's really poor fielding and Alice Davidson-Richards has got a face like thunder.

  6. Brave 96-6published at 23 balls to go

Alice Davidson-Richards looks mildly disgusted there as two fielders fail to cut out a Freya Kemp drive and the ball flies away for four.

The next ball is wide and Kemp plays a lovely cut shot away for another boundary.

The Superchargers' hopes are fading fast.

Freya Kemp in contrast to her batting partner has struggled to get going. Another attempted drive goes straight to Heather Graham for a welcome dot ball for Superchargers.

Brave closing in on 99, which would end Superchargers' hopes of reaching the knockout stages.

  9. Brave 86-6published at 28 balls to go

That is another brilliant shot from Amanda-Jade Wellington. It was a touch full and wide from Heather Graham but Wellington has played a perfect drive and sent the ball fizzing square into the off-side for four runs.

I can't help but think that bowling Higham in that last set was a mistake from the Superchargers. When they've got that total to defend, they should have gone for one of their strike bowlers.

That's an excellent shot from Wellington, she's just given herself a fraction of room and lofted it over mid-off.

Brave 80-6published at 30 balls to go

Amanda-Jade Wellington goes even bigger this time!

It was just a leisurely skip down the track but she has timed it so well the ball has flown way over the long-off boundary!

Wellington is dragging Brave home here.

The worm shows Southern Brave Women are 14 runs behind Northern Superchargers Women. Southern Brave Women are 80 for 6 after 70 balls. At the same stage Northern Superchargers Women were 94 for 3.

Successive fours, this is not going so well for Higham and the Superchargers.

  14. Brave 74-6published at 33 balls to go

Amanda-Jade Wellington is bang on the money first up, lofting two drives over the in-field for back-to-back boundaries.

Crucial, crucial runs for Southern Brave!

I'm just admiring this catch from Heather Graham. It was a nice shot actually but the trajectory of the ball was just too flat and what a catch!

It's the timing of the jump and then having the composure to take the catch and stay inside the rope.

Superbly taken. What a catch! What a breakthrough, the Superchargers could still make it into the top three and that eliminator.

The Brave are undefeated in this competition but they're unravelling here.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 37 balls to go

    Dunkley c Graham b Davidson-Richards 38 (Brave 64-6)

Not any more! What a catch that is!

Sophia Dunkley dances down the track and looks to loft the ball over long-off. But Heather Graham patrolling the boundary leaps into the air at full stretch to take the catch before twisting and turning to make sure she doesn't tumble over the rope. Brilliant athleticism.

    A massive wicket for Superchargers.

With her ability and array of options, Sophia Dunkley will be backing herself.

  19. Brave 64-5published at 39 balls to go

Ooh, very nearly an inside edge! Sophia Dunkley jams her bat down on an excellent yorker from Alice Davidson-Richards and the ball narrowly misses the stumps.

It is all happening out there at the moment.

Charlotte Edwards will be fiery in this timeout, that's for sure. She will be trying to reassure her team. I'd be saying, "what an opportunity this is to get your team over the line and get us through to that final".
