Superchargers 69-3published at 55 balls
I'm still slightly taken aback by that drop. The look on Lauren Bell's face afterwards suggests she was as surprised as anyone not to have taken it. She can only hope it doesn't prove too costly.
Superchargers impress in victory but needed a larger margin of victory to progress to eliminator

Oh my days. That is a bit of a horror one.
Superchargers 67-3
Oh dear, Lauren Bell won't want to see that again.
An outside edge from Heather Graham as Kemp angled the ball across her and the ball just looped towards Bell.
She just snatches at it though and the ball goes to ground. That really should have been taken.
An expensive set from McGrath, 13 from it as new batter Heather Graham gets a thick outside edge down to the deep third boundary.
McGrath was so good in the Ashes over the winter but the Australia all-rounder has not really fired so far in The Hundred.
Not quite the start that Tahlia McGrath was after. A wide to start and a couple of balls later, she sends it down leg ahead and this time Carla Rudd can't get to it.
Five wides and a nice bonus for the Superchargers.
Armitage lbw b Wellington 7 (Superchargers 51-3)
Plumb. Armitage was halfway off by the time ball-tracking confirmed what she already knew.
The replays showed that the ball had clearly pitched in line, there was no bat involved and it thudded into the back leg in front of middle and leg.
Superchargers are in a bit of bother now and Amanda-Jane Wellington celebrates her first wicket of the day.

Hollie Armitage is already walking off...
Is that a third wicket for the Brave? Armitage misses with a sweep and the umpire raises his finger.
It's all going on! Armitage tries to sweep Wellington, dragging the ball from well outside off stump but gets a top edge and the ball loops into the leg side.
It looks like it could be a catch but the ball lands safely. Not only that but with the Brave fielders slow to get to it, Armitage spots the chance of a second run. Wolvaardt is slower to spot it, though, and a better throw would have seen the end of the South African.

The Superchargers are only dealing in singles at the moment. That is not enough.
Singles are the way for the Superchargers. Anya Shrubsole will happy enough with that on her return to the attack.
When will Wolvaardt and Armitage look to up the ante?
Wolvaardt 15, Armitage 1
As has been the case for much of this tournament, it already seems that the Superchargers fortunes are tied to those of Laura Wolvaardt.
Captain Hollie Armitage is out there with her now as two singles end a good, wicket-taking set from Bell.

Bess Heath was looking uncomfortable at the crease there. She likes to get off the mark with a few boundaries but she was just forcing it too much. Her earlier four was timing, that was just a heave.
Heath c McGrath b Bell 7 (Superchargers 40-2)
Simple catch. Bess Heath was struggling to get going and tried to force something.
However, in attempting to hit Lauren Bell over the top, she just chips the ball to Tahlia McGrath.
Amanda-Jane Wellington is into the attack and the leg-spinner nearly strikes with the last ball of her five.
Heath poked at it, got an outside edge on it but the ball dropped just short of Adams at slip and gets through to allow a single.

This is a good start from Bess Heath. She has been given an opportunity to have an impact up the order this tournament and has been very proactive since coming to the crease.
Four more! Heath gets stuck into a long hop from Adams, thumping the ball away for the third boundary of an expensive set.
Wolvaardt 11, Heath 0
Back-to-back boundaries for Wolvaardt - she's suddenly clicked into gear.
The first is powered through the covers, no stopping that. However, the next really should have been stopped at backward point.
No matter for the Superchargers, useful runs and they need every run they can get to bolster their chances of progressing to the eliminator.
Bess Heath joins Wolvaardt in the middle and defends the last ball of Kemp's five.
A very good start from the Brave left-armer.
