  1. Invincibles 89-1published at 58 balls

"Shot," exclaims Ellie Threlkeld from behind the stumps as Alice Capsey backs away and gives herself room to thump Phoebe Graham over extra cover for four.

Superb from the teenager, she makes it all look so easy.

  2. Invincibles 83-1published at 55 balls

While some of the other Originals bowlers have gone around the park, Hannah Jones is doing a good job for the home team.

She gets through another five and keeps the Invincibles pair to singles.

Harry Brook and Adam Hose are the two new batters in at the crease.

  5. Invincibles 78-1published at 50 balls

    Bates 44, Capsey 6

Alice Capsey gets going with a well-placed sweep to start the second half of this 10-ball set from Lamb.

It's over to Bates to end the set, though, two boundaries on the trot. Both clubbed into the gap at deep mid-wicket.

Halfway through the innings and the Originals are right up against it.

Manchester Original's Ellie Threlkeld on the player mic: "We've not seen a lot of turn off the pitch, it's a bit slow. The pace off the ball is going to be key."

Burns is one of the best fielders in the world. Brilliant bit of work and every single run matters in these games, especially today for Manchester Originals.

  8. Invincibles 65-1published at 45 balls

Fantastic fielding from Erin Burns. Bates smashes the ball leg side, Burns went running around the boundary and dived to parry the ball to Ecclestone, who was coming from the other direction.

She saves a couple of runs. Lamb will continue for another five balls.

That is a crucial wicket. That's the opening they wanted!

    Winfield-Hill c Burns b Lamb 25 (Invincibles 62-1)

    Breakthrough for the Originals.

Lauren Winfield-Hill was on the sweep, didn't get all of it and Erin Burns is able to take a straightforward catch just in from the boundary rope.

    In comes Alice Capsey.

Really interesting passage of play for both teams. Manchester have gone to Ecclestone to try and find that wicket.

  12. Invincibles 59-0published at 40 balls

    Winfield-Hill 25, Bates 31

Four good balls from Ecclestone and the fifth isn't too bad either. It's just outside off stump, though, and that allows Winfield-Hill to free her arms and hit over extra cover for four.

Top shot and this fine opening stand keeps building.

It's nice to see Hannah Jones bowling so well. She's been great in this competition. Wanted by so many teams in The Hundred but Manchester Originals managed to keep hold of her.

  16. Invincibles 54-0published at 35 balls

A much better set for the Originals as Hannah Jones restricts the visitors to just three singles.

Without a wicket soon, though, the Originals could find themselves chasing a very big score.

  17. Superchargers men 48-1published at 35 balls

Back to Headingley and David Willey's in for the Superchargers after Faf du Plessis falls for seven.

The allrounder is on 22 from 17 with Adam Lyth on 17 off 13 at the other end.

It's been a measured start so far from the hosts, but will they start to accelerate now they've built a platform?

Bates is so powerful down the ground and that is seriously dismissive.

  19. 50 runs

    Invincibles 51-0published at 30 balls

The fifty partnership comes up in quick time as Bates bludgeons a length delivery from Phoebe Graham back down the ground for four.

That's a fifth boundary of the innings for the Kiwi opener.

We thought it was going to be bad pitch to play on but so far it's playing really well.
