  1. Pak 88-5published at 14 overs

    Target 131

Close! I thought he'd done it for a moment. Mohammad Nawaz went back to the hat-trick ball and, initially, I thought he'd been hit on the back leg in front of leg stump.

He had but only after a hefty inside edge. Turns out it's not easy to be an umpire.

Anyway, has that over got Zimbabwe back into this game?

I just don't know why you'd review that. It is a waste of a review.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.5 overs

    Haider lbw b Raza 0 (Pak 88-5)

No surprise there. It is as plumb as it gets. He planted his front foot and was rapped in front of middle.

Three reds with it hitting half way up middle. Raza is on a hat-trick!

I'm with you, if he's not hit that he's salmon trout.

If he's not hit that it is absolutely dead.

    Zimbabwe are coming!

  7. Pakistan reviewpublished at 13.5 overs

    Pak 88-5

It's two in two for Raza! Haider Ali is hit plumb in front and up goes the umpire's finger.

Oh... he's reviewed it. Interesting but I'd be shocked if that isn't out.

That is almost like Shadab Khan hit that but tried not to hit it as hard as he could.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.4 overs

    Shadab c Williams b Raza 17 (Pak 88-4)

It's six and out! Shadab Khan tries to go again but doesn't put the same effort into it and picks out Sean Williams at long-off.

    Maybe, just maybe...

  10. 6 runs

    Pak 88-3published at 13.3 overs

Nailed by Shadab Khan! The first real shot in anger from the all-rounder and he's cleared the fielder at long-on.

That is very nearly the wicket that Pakistan needed.

  12. Pak 81-3published at 13.1 overs

    Target 131

Raza comes back into the attack and so nearly strikes with the first ball of the over!

Masood goes to cut, gets an edge and the ball just misses off stump.

Pakistan are just nudging it around and doing a good job.

  14. Pak 80-3published at 13 overs

    Target 131

That's a pretty good over from Muzarabani but Pakistan take nine from it thanks to some good running.

Two leg byes come from the fifth ball as it just rolls into the gap at square leg and then the next is clipped to deep mid-wicket. It should only be one but Masood sprints back and the throw is slightly wayward.

The worm shows Pakistan are seven runs behind Zimbabwe. Pakistan are 80 for 3 after 13 overs. At the same stage Zimbabwe were 87 for 3.Image source, Getty Images

Zimbabwe need a wicket so they just have to bowl whoever is their best bowler every over.

Zimbabwe need a wicket and turn to Blessing Muzarabani to try and provide it.

I just wonder if Pakistan have the net run-rate in the back of their minds. They are't doing anything stupid at the moment.

Pakistan haven't played a shot in anger but they are still up with the rate. That is always a concern for the fielding captain. They might have to bring one of their quicks back on. They do need to try something.

  19. Pak 71-3published at 12 overs

    Target 131

Sean Williams gets through another over and, without taking any real risks, Pakistan are able to take 10 from it.

Masood and Shadab are uses the dimensions well to find gaps and work a two and a three in that over.

I feel sorry for the Zimbabwe boys because even their good balls are being worked for a single. That is making it hard to build any pressure.

There isn't much more they can do because if they bring another guy into the ring it would result in an easy boundary. They'll just want to take the game as deep as possible and two or three quick wickets could make the game interesting.
