    More from Heather Knight...

On Dunkley opening the batting: "I've seen her do it in franchise leagues and couple of times and she's been amazing. She's got the shots and the mindset to go out there and do well alongside Danni Wyatt."

On a T20I debut for Issy Wong: "It's been a good month for her. She's been really impressive with how she goes about things. She runs in and tries to take wickets and that's the mindset we want. I'm really excited to see how she goes in what I think is probably her best format."

On Katherine Brunt returning: "It's always great to have Kathy B back. She's the leader of our attack, brings that passion and energy, and obviously skill as well."

South Africa captain Sune Luus: "We would have had a bowl as well.

"We just want to start fresh again. T20 is exciting and short cricket we just want to express ourselves.

"Mignon's [Du Preez] energy is great and she brings the experience among the youngsters as well."

England captain Heather Knight: "It always feels like Chelmsford under lights, it's easier to chase. Quick outfield, small boundaries as well, hopefully we can keep them to an acceptable total and then chase it down.

"A change of format and this is going to be really good preparation for us for the Commonwealths. In T20, it's just about going out there and being fearless, backing our skillset and having a bit of fun with it.

"We really enjoy playing T20, we've been quite successful in it so we want to add the things that we've talked about doing slightly better and maintain the things that we've done well over a number of years."
