The atmosphere is ELECTRIC.
Mohammad Hasnain takes the new ball. He has a slip in place. Salt scrapes through a single with a flick off his legs to start.
England openers Phil Salt and Alex Hales have walked out to the crease. They look super focused.

Pakistan can't find any rhythm with their batting. There's a bit of insecurity there. The openers are firing and the middle order are not backing it up, or it's the other way round. At the moment they look unsure in the middle order. England look a bit further on with their selection and play scenario cricket, but Pakistan are not anywhere near that settled. Their selection has been a little all over the place.
The Pakistan team are in a huddle on the boundary rope. We're about to get going folks.

Pakistan have not lost four T20s in a row since 2010. I think they are a little of a hangover from the Asia Cup after being outclassed by Sri Lanka having been widely expected to win. Since then there has been a dip in confidence.
England have won their last three men’s T20Is against Pakistan; the last and only time they enjoyed a longer winning run against them in the format was a four-match span from February 2012 to November 2015.

No surprise that England are playing three spinners given how the pitch played the other day. Liam Dawson's slow-left arm might come in handy. England are going to want to put themselves in a few different situations over the next few matches so they don't feel underprepared for the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam: "The wicket is a little dry so 150 or 160 is chaseable.
"We started well in the first overs [last match] but our middle overs were not up to the mark. Our middle order needs to step up."

Theo Bowyer: No idea how Liam Dawson gets a gig in this team. On a positive note I’m loving seeing Alex Hales back in the team. About time.
England fast bowler Luke Wood, speaking to Sky Sports: "To make my debut in the last match was pretty special anyway, and to produce a man-of-the-match performance it couldn't get any better for me. I was hoping to get a go towards the back end of the series so when I got the nod in the first game it was a special moment and to bowl well topped it off.
"The occasion when I stepped on the ground at the start I took it all in initially. I wasn't extra nervous, really although it's a big game. I think the Hundred helped. It bridged the game between county cricket and international cricket. Once I bowled that first ball I was fine.
"I have worked hard over the last few months and that has contributed to the debut. My family are proud. It's a shame they couldn't be here but they watched at home on the edge of their seats."
Alex Hales said hitting 53 on his return to the England side on Tuesday was "the stuff dreams are made of".
Hales was making his first England appearance in over three years as the tourist swon their first game in Pakistan for 17 years by six wickets.
He was dropped from the World Cup squad in March 2019 after reportedly failing a recreational drugs test.
"There years felt like forever," said Hales.
"It's a very special feeling to get back out on the park for England.
"To score a fifty on my return in a winning team is the stuff dreams are made of."
In the first T20 match on Tuesday the returning Alex Hales hit 53 and debutant Luke Wood took 3-24 as England claimed a six-wicket win over Pakistan in their first game in the country for 17 years.
Chasing 159 to win, Hales hit seven fours in a controlled and mature knock in his first England appearance since 2019.
His fifty gave England a platform for victory, with Harry Brook making 42 not out off 25 balls in just his fifth T20 to guide the tourists home with four balls to spare in Karachi.

Three spinners for England then. Thoughts?
Here's a reminder of what happened last time out...
Pakistan: Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Haider Ali, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Qadir, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Shahnawaz Dahani.
England: Phil Salt (wk), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali (c), Sam Curran, David Willey, Luke Wood, Adil Rashid, Liam Dawson.
England skipper Moeen Ali: "The wicket is not as fresh looking as the other one. We have three spinners as well so batting first suits us. The first game we were good with the bat and he ball. But you always look for improvement and get better as the series goes on."
The pitch looks very cracked. Moeen Ali has chosen to bat first.
After a historic win in their first match in Karachi, England go again hoping to go 2-0 in their seven-match T20 series with Pakistan.
Let's do this!
