That's all from this live page on a day where England and Australia got their World Cup campaigns under way with a win.

My colleague Matthew Henry's match report from Australia's win over New Zealand can be found here, while Callum Matthews' England report is here.

You can also scroll down this live page for all the best in-play clips and highlights from both games.

We will be back on Sunday from 12:30 GMT for coverage of India v Pakistan - always a thrilling encounter whenever or wherever they meet - followed by Bangladesh against Sri Lanka.

That was the sublime - but we also saw the ridiculous as New Zealand missed a glorious chance to remove Perry when she was on just 11, but bizarrely opted against a review.

Umpire Sue Redfern then gave everyone a laugh with a comedy tumble as she looked to avoid New Zealand batter Bernadine Bezuidenhout.

One for Question of Sport's 'what happened next' round.

Eden Carson took a stunning catch to dismiss Beth Mooney early on but that failed to knock Australia off their stride, with Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning and Elysse Perry putting on a batting clinic.

  4. 'We were really poor in all facets'published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2023

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine: "To put it bluntly we were really poor today in all facets of the game. I thought Australia batted particularly well. Lea Tahuhu and Amelia Kerr were good with the ball but 170 was going to be a tough chase and the way we went about it, losing early wickets, was always going to be difficult. It is really disappointing.

"I was happy with the way we bowled at the death and I think that is the thing about these tournaments, you have to take the positives because it is such a quick turnaround. To be able to take wickets like that and pretty much bowl them out was really pleasing.

"We need to figure what we can from the wicket and conditions. We won't have much time so we have to be really smart and move forward.

"It probably played lower and slower than we expected but we're going to have to accept that playing here a couple of times in the next week and adapt."

Player of the match Ash Gardner: "That was set up by our batters and that gave us flexibility and freedom with the ball. We've started exactly in the way we wanted too and I was just lucky enough to take the wickets at the end.

"I'm not doing a lot different. I've worked a lot on my wrist position. It is more about my length though because I am a little taller. Some were bouncing and some weren't so keeping the stumps in play was really important.

"The practice pitches have been slow and stayed low at times. As a bowler unit we just need to bowl that knee roll length."

Speaking of West Indies v England - here are some of the best bits from that game including a fine knock by West Indies captain Hayley Matthews, a stunning catch from Chinelle Henry and some truly destructive batting from Sophia Dunkley, Alice Capsey and Nat Sciver-Brunt.

It has been a brilliant days cricket.

The England and West Indies game was fantastic. We saw England's approach filtering down and they played some really exciting cricket. I loved how they came out with the bat and took the game to the West Indies. They were dismissive.

Australia's batting display was fantastic and they have been dominant with the ball.

Someone is going to have play very well to beat Australia.

They did show slight weaknesses today. They lost consistent wickets and should have got up about 180-190, and could have got 200 at one stage.

Their score was still a match-winning score in women's cricket. They were still above average.

I'm not sure if sides will be able to take positives out of Australia losing wickets at the end of the innings.

We are clutching at straws. You are at the death and you have the freedom to go hard.

They are a very strong side.

That is an absolute hammering for New Zealand. It is not good enough.

Once their two key batters got golden ducks at the top of the order it was going one way.

It was a dominant display from Australia. They showed why they are the best team in the world.
