Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof: "It was a very clinical performance in every department. I am very proud of the way Muneeba [Ali] batted. She backed herself and showed what she can do. I hope she can keep playing like that.

"I said you're the set batter, go and bat deep and the other batter will play alongside you.

"We have taken 10 wickets, that is the most pleasing department. But the fast bowling department could be better, we will work on that.

"We take the positives from the last match and we have improved our game in this match.

"We will celebrate with some cake when we go back to the hotel."

Ireland's captain Laura Delany: "We underperformed today and will be disappointed with the performance. We gave them too much width. We had intent with the bat but we are disappointed with how we batted.

"They're such a lovely group to captain and Orla [Prendergast] is an example of that. Two of our young spinners put up a good fight too.

"We need to sit down and identify the errors ahead of the next game. This is a lovely venue to play at and bat on and we want to make the most of it next time.

"Well-batted, Muneeba Ali was brilliant and out-played us."

Player of the match, Pakistan's Muneeba Ali who struck 102 off 68: "When I got a partnership, Nida Dar was telling me to keep going then on the 13th over I knew I could get 100.

"I was playing with the field and trying to understand where I could get a boundary and Dar also helped me.

"They're all happy and I'm very happy about this innings. Everyone was enjoying it and we had a good match.

"I also want to dedicate this award to my captain and my team, we fought hard yesterday and won today."

It's been an encouraging display by Ireland.

Eimear Richardson played a brilliant cameo but ultimately Ireland fell apart after her wicket.

They collapsed from 88-6 to 95 all out following her dismissal.

Ireland are still after their first victory at a women's World Cup.

They face West Indies in their next match on Friday who are winless in the tournament so far.

It's been a dominant performance by Pakistan propelled by the magnificent and history making century by Muneeba Ali.

And it means Pakistan have raced to their first victory at this world cup.

Muneeba Ali hit a brilliant 102 as Pakistan made 165-5.

And it was a total far too big for Ireland to chase. They were second-best against a pumped-up Pakistan side.
