That's so disappointing for Bernadine Bezuidenhout. She just got a little bit too eager. I wanted to see her keep going but great for Bangladesh.
Bezuidenhout st Shamima b Shorna Akter 44 (NZ 77-1)
Got 'em!
A much-needed wicket for Bangladesh as Bernadine Bezuidenhout misses a wide one while marching forward and turns to see her stumps on the floor.

You can see this getting away from Bangladesh.
Poor from spinner Shorna Akter who tosses one up which Bates punishes for four.
Oh no! it's given no ball as it was over waist-high. Bates adds four more, crashing the free hit through the leg side to the ropes.

Too many seamers have been bowling short here. You have to pitch it up on this wicket.
Bernadine Bezuidenhout moves into the 40s with a carve through point to the fence.
Next shot is a lot looser though as she top-edges a pull shot just over a backpedalling fielder.
There are still opportunities out there for Bangladesh.
Bates 22, Bezuidenhout 38
Smash! Suzie Bates clobbers a full one straight past the bowler for four more runs.
Next delivery and there's nearly a mix up as Bezuidenhout is sent back after calling for a single. A poor throw from the fielder though lets New Zealand off the hook.

I've been a bit disappointed with Bangladesh. I thought they could've brought more to this game, it is an easy one for them to win.
Fair play to Fahima Khatun who's back on her feet and sees out the end of her over.
Cape Town is looking as beautiful as ever by the way.
My goodness! Suzie Bates crunches a drive straight into the ankle of bowler Fahima Khatun. This doesn't look good and the physio is called for straight away.

New Zealand have scored more in this powerplay than they did in the first two matches combined.
And a single through the leg side brings up the 50 partnership. A brilliant start.

New Zealand have improved since their first two games.
Fahima Khatun is into the attack now.
New Zealand end the powerplay with a run rate just above eight per over. Not bad at all.
Bezuidenhout 35, Bates 14
Four more runs from Bezuidenhout, this time with much more control, pulling to the leg side.
Here's a clip of an earlier boundary from the opener. She's putting the pressure on Bangladesh.
Another edge from Bernadine Bezuidenhout, this time off the bowling of Salma Khatun.
Keeper Shamima Sultana can't get a glove to it as it races away for four.

You can put pressure on Bangladesh fielders by getting the ball into the outfield.
Spinner Nahida Akter changes ends. She creates half a chance as Bernadine Bezuidenhout edges one hard beyond the keeper.
Still plenty of intent from New Zealand, I think Bangladesh need to turn to plan b now.
